I suck at any type of design, but how about a speaker on bottom with some music notes eminating from the cone then "TeamSSAudio" on top. Kinda like the speaker is playing that, but with the music notes, it's a little more eloquent. Hell, I don't know.

Crap, I forgot about making a label for those. The one on the left, while you're looking at the front, is the sub mono/stereo swith. Up is mono, down is stereo. The one on the right I have no idea what the settings are as it was never marked, but I do know it is a highpass crossover setting.

Well, I just got a phone call today and the dummy went and bought a pair of 12W6v2s. I designed the entire system around stealth and low power as he only bought the truck cuz he just had a child and didn't want anything outrageous. So much for that. Guess we'll see that that tailgate looks like.

Was the antenna lead hooked up? I've seen some ground through the antenna lead before.

Could also be low impedance issue causing overheating. Some have a thermal switch that will stay open until cool, other's will simply need to be shut off to reset.

Any possibility it's in the recording? Does it happen with pitch changes? That's the only way I could see it to be frequency related.

Got a new amp today. I'm actually so impressed with this thing, I think I'm going to order the 2300 for my sub. Too bad I'll have to run it at 8 ohms, but I think 250 watts should be plenty with it being vented.

And Steve's will have a middle finger.
