Best solution on the TC9 would be to plug the pole vent, take some sand paper about 320 or so, then switch to a real fine for a final pass. Follow up with an appropriate BARE METAL POLISH that will work well on steel. Trying to just polish this piece is going to be a pain. Been there, done that. even tried a tarnish remover. Didn't work. Only method I could, I just posted.
