They are very versatile drivers just as the newest ones are. As far as power is concerned, that's going to be enclosure dependant for the most part. The rest will depend on the amount of output you desire.

Nope. I'll tell you what though, I am learning a TON of stuff about HO alternators. My car is going to have one hell of an electrical system in a couple months.

An all-in-one unit is best for simplicity's sake. I wouldn't worry too much about degrading the sound by using multiple processors. It's been done for YEARS with no adverse effects. Many a SQ trophy car has gone this route, so don't put too emphasis on that. Concentrate on getting the right equipment to give you the control you need and will fit best in your application. BTW, as far as crossovers go, once I first used a Coutsic crossover, I have never used anything else. Their extremely flexible and just great units. The XM-7 is an truly awesome piece. Wish I kept mine.
