  1. It would be easier to just sell it and buy new.
  2. Wouldn't want to drop that on my foot!
  3. Subs I had when I got my first Magnum: XXX, Brahma, Stryke, eD Os(flatcone), W7, Tempests, Shiva. Subs I sold after I got my Magnum: XXX, Brahma, Stryke, eD Os(flatcone), W7, Tempests, Shiva.
  4. That's just beautiful. I think you should do something a little more custom on the HU though. I'm not a fan of the average "kit" install. Of course I don't know how the dash is either. I have free time if you want me to make some adapter rings for you. Just let me know what you need.
  5. I am a bit biased here and can only give my opinion on one of the drivers as it's the only one I have experience with. With that being said, you're enlcosure is going to play the biggest role here. Your music preferences aren't exactly full of material that will play as low as you need/want. A smaller sealed enclosure(1-1.5 cubes) seems perfect for you. Lowend output may suffer a bit, but when introduced into the vehicular environment, the transfer function will raise your F3 considerably. Being you have relatively low power, you may want to increase the enclosure size for increased efficiency, but you may get a little more slop and tradeoff some accuracy. Just the nature of the beast. I don't know how the RL-p, nor the A/D/S fare will fare with 400 watts, but I can tell you that my new Mag is a killer in 1 cube sealed and 250 watts. Now, that is in a standard cab pickup truck, so my results would not be as striking if loaded into a trunk. Give us some more info on the vehicle type, and a budget as well. I'll let some others give their opinions now.
  6. WHIP IT GOOD!!!!!!!

Good, now you can finally put some of that gear to use.
  8. If all you need is rumble, skip the headers. The shorties are not going to make a distinguishable difference in sound. Longtubes, that's another story. As far as CARB goes, do they have to actually be certified or can you use non-CARB certified products if you still pass emissions?
  9. Whatevere you want. Seriously though, 16 guage is more than enough. I use stranded 14 for everything.
  10. Just anf FYI, but Flowmasters or any other muffler for that matter will have a similar tone, but still a different sound on different vehicles. With that out of the way. . . Even the 1-1/2" header will be a major improvement over the stock cast iron design. The smooth tubing and bends will increase the airflow over the rough cast. Bigger is not always better, but if possible, I would suggest the step up to 1-5/8" if the budget allows. No large than that unless you up displacement or radically change the engine. You have to keep some backpressure and velocity within the headers themselves. As for the Summit parts, Undercar Digest lists Walker as their major OEM supplier for exhaust parts. Walker is the manufacturer of Dynomax. Take that however you want. They do a lot of OEM supply.
  11. Goodnight all.
  12. If you want to stick with the 5.25s, the Scan-Speak Revelators will put out some amazing midbass comparable to many 6.5s on the market. Just my own $.02.
  13. Great construction. The drivers look very nice indeed. I hope that caulk dries clear.
  14. Morel has a broader range of poduct in the mid-level compared to Seas. The problem I see with you selling any of these drivers is the fact that you will have to have a markup over Madisound already, and the only thing I would see that could sway consumers your way would be for lower prices. Now, I am saying that having never done business with you, nor having any knowledge of your past. Personally, I don't know you or your business (outside of the limited time I've seen you here), and I would rather spend some extra money ordering from Madisound because I have dealt with them before and know how they conduct business. You may be just as good or even better, but I don't know. Just something you might want to think about before making the investment. Please don't take this the wrong way. I hope you understand what I'm trying to convey here.
  15. Eh, see, I'm the opposite. My love of cars leads me to the car audio world moreso than the HT. Now, I did have a killer setup at mo old house, which included 4 Tempests IB in the attic, and while I do miss it dearly, most of my time is spent working on vehicles or something related. Hence I concentrate most of my energy there. To me, the vehicle is more important. You can live in your car, but you can't drive your house.
  16. Soundstreams rock. My old pair of 160s were the second best drivers I've ever heard.
  17. Jmac, seriously. . . . You need to relieve some people of their right to breathe. I hope these people do not EVER reproduce!!!
  18. YOU don't need anything else. That vid you posted was proof positive.
  19. I love THE Claw. Really though, if you liked the old one, forget about it. The new one is totally different. I didn't think the old one could be improved upon, but holy crap.
  20. Yup.
  21. Cua you want us to think you actually know what you're talking about.
  22. Which means you'll be posting again in 7.3 minutes. Maybe a little longer for cleanup time.
  23. Good night.
  24. I have finally found the best sleeping potion!! Slam a 22 ouncer in under a minute. That's the problem with beer. . . Drink one, you're tired. Better keep drinking. On a lighter note, going to work for my bro-in-law tomorrow temporarily until I either: A. Get called back to work, or B. Get my apprenticeship. I'm hoping for the latter.
