Take your time. There will be spots you will miss. Depending on how extensive you want to get will be the determining factor. I spent over a year on my last project just sealing the trunk and cabin off. This included cutting and rewelding steel so I could get access to some spots.

I'm trying to figure out why you guys are arguing over colors of mud. There are so many different kinds and types. You can pretty much find any color of the rainbow available. Rage Gold is green BTW without glass. Duraglass is a dark green. Kitty Hair is gray and white as well. I could go on.

I like mine better than the 5.0 also. It doesn't have quite the following or reputation yet though.

Replacement kits work well. Sometimes you can actually melt the two pieces together also. Ever thought of using a 10guage butt splice?

FedEx, but they were awesome about it and handled the whole deal. All I had to do was call JL and send it in. They picked it up, sent it out, JL checked it over and re-coned it, and sent it back to me. All in under a week. I can't complain. I don't think the driver realized how heavy it actually was.

Probably fairly well. There's quite a bit of width and I would think their deck height would be similar to that of the 4.6 width after the heads are installed.
