  1. I figure I'll only need a loan for $7K for a brand new vehicle, so why not. That way I am SURE nothing is wrong with it short of a recall. I suppose I could take the $7K cash and find something good used, but there will always be that question of dependability in relation to it's history. Hell, I don't know.
  2. Well as most of you know, I will be attending school here shortly. I'm in NW Indiana, school is in Nashville, TN. I don't want to take my car down there atall. I also don't want to have it just sitting up here for more than a year. I was going to get a student loan to cover the remaining $5K I owe on the car. Anyways, what would you guys do? I'm thinking of selling it and getting a new Scion. I want something economical with a warranty that I won't really have to do any maintenance on. I don't really WANT to sell it, but I'm thinking this is my best option. I hate to take even more money out on a loan and buy another used vehicle with no real idea on it's condition. I figure I can sell the car for $12.5K That leaves me $7.5K to play with which will bump my student loan up $2.5K, but it also nets me a brand new vehicle with a warranty that gets 30+mpg. I'm thinking this is the way to go. Sacrifices must be made, but it's difficult. Others previously in this situation, I'd appreciate your input!

Not if they've already been saved to the computer for reposting.
  5. Damn MTX is pissing me off! When you have to email a manufacturer a question that their dealers can't answer, you'd think they'd give a response other than, "please visit your local authorized dealer for further information."
  6. Works now. I don't know. She didn't seem all that excited. Not freaky enough for me. Hot as hell though.
  7. Something I just thought of. With this CEA standard, I would like to see efficiency and current consumption added to this list. Too many manufacturers lack these specs which are so very critical for the end user.
  8. That's awesome James! Are you back home now, or still down there?
  9. nervous why? cause of the fact that it's school & new... or like performance anxiety? You're doing the right thing (i think)... Dont be nervous you will be fine! Auto school really isn't all that tough. The one thing that killed the kids at my school was the physics class. They would fail it 3 semesters in a row and the teacher would eventually pass them out of sympathy. Don't fret about it though, it really isn't that hard. Not nervous about the actual school part at all. That's going to be the easy part. Just nervous about moving away, getting a part-time job, and trying to balance everything on the homefront and bills. When my mind starts going in 10 different directions, I start to F up and forget exactly what I'm doing. I'm a multi-tasker, but lately I find myself having to write notes to remind myself.
  10. So are you going to be selling them? And do you mean 5KW x 1 @1ohm? 500 is more than enough for me, but a lot of people are going to just laugh at that.
  11. I watched a video the other day titled, "My Friend's Hot Mom." She was nice.

  16. Nope. They'll be very happy with that power.
  17. I have no experience with their newer stuff, but if it's built as well as their older stuff, you can't go wrong. They'll last forever.
