  1. I try my best.
  2. I just found out some UBER-sweet insider information! Too bad you guys will have to wait months to find out. Should be worth the wait though.
  3. They don't look bad, but for the price, I would go with something from Crutchfield. Quality, performance, accessories included, best service. They should have something that fits your needs and budget. And you won't have ANY problems dealing with them.
  4. I doubt the heat will make that much difference.
  5. I'd look through Crutchfield.
  6. Need MP3 compatability or anything?
  7. Oh boy. Why do YOU always find them?

  9. I'll NEVER touch mine again either. NEVER. I spent and extra $150 on the proper tools to do it correctly. They are now sitting in the garage and will probably never be used again. Add to that the fact that used gear lube smells horrible...
  10. Not bad, but the C90/C90R and 4000X is the way to go. Nothing can touch it. if only i could find the combo. i heard the 4000x takes a while to figure out. The manual can get confusing. It is rather time consuming. The original XES system from 90-92 was really the best, but there was like 8 total pieces and a HUGE PITA to work with. Very time-consuming. I still don't think there's anything available today that can touch it, but good luck finding a complete system or even the pieces. My C90/4000 was the best thing I've ever used. Once you're familiar with it, it's cake. Only complaint, good luck reading the display in sunlight. The fix, they have a negative display available.
  11. Done mine twice. The time I spent will be better used next time to pay someone to do it in half the time.

  13. I am paying for the install so I talked to them about where it could be installed and told them where I wanted it. I'm paying so they need to do what I want. As for most people...well most people are idiots or just nieve. But I know how easy it is to disable an alarm so I am gonna make it a big enough PITA that they move on to the next car or get the workout of a lifetime. That's what it's all about. I figure, if they really want in or to take the car, they'll get it. Whatever I can do to slow them down, I will. BTW, Mine is behind the rear seat panel and cannot be accessed without tearing half of the interior apart.
  14. I have only heard of one problem so far. You shoudl be good as long as you don't abuse it.
  15. That Honda catching fire was awesome! Night folks!
  16. Anyone interested in some planars?
  17. What kind is that? Yamaha
  18. Take your car to the average installer and they will just throw it up under the dash however they see fit. So why do most people even bother? I like to take a little extra effort to confuse the potential thief if they gain entry and hopefully frustrate the hell out fo them by not being able to find anything. 99% are going straight under the dash on the drivers side looking for the brain.
  19. alpine f#1 nope is it an lcd? no Denon, NAK, or Clarion.

  21. if you want I can reopen it, I just felt the longer it went on the worse it got, this guy is just very intrusive and is all talk and nothing to back it up Ignorance is bliss. The guy's all over the RE forum on SIN, and everyone tells him the same thing.
  22. Depends on the vehicle. I make them as inaccessible as possible.
  23. I have gas. Thanks for checking on that amp for me!!!
