That's the last thing you want in that behemoth. Hell it takes the 2.3 something like 19-20 seconds to do the quarter in the Mustang. Throw that in the heavier Lincoln, and well, you might as well walk.

Why not mount the components themselves to the back of the enclosure and just wire them altogether. I think that would look striking.

I hooked them up to the factory MAch 460 with supposedly 35wpc on the highs and who knows what type of EQ and crossover settings. I am AMAZED. I can't wait to get them installed and running on something other than the factory crap. Ask an MB or BMW owner to do the same and get their opinion. Then try out 5 year-old models of each brand and see if the differences are still minimal.

Supa's on a good page there. I always use a razor blade to clean the exterior glass. Just habit. It's works very well. Unfortunately, I have very hard water at my hose and about every 2 years have to polish the glass because it gets this nasty film that looks like gasoline and water mixed. You know, the kinda weird yellow/blue/purple ripple. As for the bugs, I wouldn't use anything like the goo gone or any of that crap. IT WILL remove the wax and polish you just worked so hard to apply. Take some carwash concentrate and rub it on by hand. Be generous here. Let it sit for about 20-30 minutes, then take a small amount of carwash and water mixed and you're washmitt or sponge and agitate it. Should safely remove all the bugs and still leave the polish and wax intact. Oh, for rinsing, I take a pitcher and pour the water on that area only to avoid wetting the rest of the car, or just wash the whole damn thing anyways.

Well, got home at 2, started to clay the Cobra. Got done with the roof and my stupid ass dropped the clay!!!! Of course the local paint store closed at noon today, so I had to suffer with the OTC variety. Nobody had any Mothers, so I had to tuogh it out with the Clay Magic stuff. WTF!!!???? Talk about a piece of s h i t!!!! Don't ever use this stuff, it's worthless. Called my buddy at a local dealership. His paint man had just the clay I was looking for. Drove 30 minutes to pick it up. Get home, clay away. Started on the second coat of polish about 2 hours ago. Couldn't hack the bugs anymore so I called it a night. On to the waxing in the morning. The things we do for the ones we love.

Tough call. That's a hell of a driver you ordered there.
