  1. I know a secret. PM me if you want info.
  2. "per 100 vehicles." Too subjective with the sheer volume of vehicles manufacturers produce today. Also, talk to anyone who works at a dealership and they will tell you most of things people have fixed are stupid nitpick items. I don't know. I personally feel if you take care of a car well, it will be a good car. Now some are lemons, and some just bad designs, but overall it all comers down to the end-user IMO.
  3. PE OWNZ on shipping!!!! I get everything next day!
  4. If I remember correctly, it works from the soundcard on the computer. A generic or cheap soundcard can cause too many variables within the results, but who knows.
  5. Good read, but IMO, all that is subjective as well. MAny people DO hear differences from certain things such as wire or amps. Does this mean they don't exist just because science says so? How can that be determined. Even with RC's amp challenge, it is set up so he comes out on top. Every little scientific quirk to get the amps to reproduce the signal exactly is there, hence noone will ever beat the challenge. Now, can someone honestly tell me that if they switched a couple different amplifiers out in their system that they may not notice a slight difference in how the sound is reproduced? I think not. Whether it be due to the components, whatever, the human ear and the idividual it is attached to is ultimately the one that will make the decision. No meters, or sensors needed, only our ears. I agree with it for the most part, but there is ALWAYS an enception to every rule, no matter how much science is behind it.
  6. Only once....? Damn I've been playing this all wrong. The Hammer Hey Hammer, any prices guesstimates on the 6 channel Zed? SHoot me a PM if you know. THanks
  7. I hate that BS with the doors. I ran into that problem working on my buddy's freaking Stratus. That is such dumbass engineering.
  8. Love it!
  9. Say what? What was the problem? I like those cars.
  10. Kent, your cables are finished.
  11. I think you better buy a DC motor to pull behind your truck to power those bastards first.
  12. Isn't going to happen. Why not? What's REALLY stopping you from doing it?
  13. I don't think there is a best. Seems to be a rather large variety no matter where you look. You're more likely to find higher end, quality, better condition items on a few different forums, but other than that, I'd say they are all pretty much equal. I like to stick to the smaller, more familiar place so as to not get screwed or even have to worry about it. The large forums where anyone and everyone sells are places I don't like to shop unless I know the guy or he has many standuo references.
  14. Got my order in today. Great buys. I am actually in the process of working out a deal with him to buy his remaining inventory of subs. Nice little drivers for the price. They really can't be beat. Hammer, I'll post up a review of the component set tomorrow, once I get it installed. For photos, go here. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...?showtopic=3183
  15. All for $157. Not too shabby. First, shots of the 10" THis is what I am buying a huge lot of except for the 8s. I'll have photos up of those when I get them. Nice coated paper cone. Looks very familiar from the back. Same basket as the PG titaniums. 5 way gold plated binding posts, and the tinsel leads are 18 guage and fully insulated. There's front and rear gaskets built into the fram itself. A superb touch for such a cheap driver dollar wise. NExt up is the component set. Really nice for the money too. Cheap basket, but other than that, really feature packed. Hell, the crossovers have a settign switch for flat, -3dB, -6dB, which is accessed by removing the top of the crossover. The mid has a nice gasket built into the rear of the basket. It also has dual 4 ohm coils. A nice touch I was not expecting. They come with all mounting hardware, LONG wiring, and pretty much any type of tweeter mounting arrangement can be made with the large variety of mounting cups included. The tweeters also swivel which is a very nice feature if mounting them off axis. And the amp. Also got a set of coaxials, but I was too lazy to take anymore photos. Not a bad deal at all.
  16. Don't be a puss. It's just a car as ans long as it's done correctly and hidden, there should be no problems. Resale on Neon's are low anyways, it's not like your destroying the car. Hell, if you ever go to sell it, noone will probably ever be able to tell. Kent, shoot me a PM as my memory is not there anymore and I have no idea what you're talking about. I got my NExt order in today. I'm going to be posting some photos of the 10s I will have for sale, but I don't have any of the 8s. The specs are really promising for the price and the build quality is that of any name brand stuff.
