  1. Supa: Nice ride! Clean and simple is perfect. Not a fan of the fart pipes, but I have heard some that actually sound good. A 4 cylinder, no matter what the exhaust system just is not music to my ears. I personally don't know how anyone can like any of their sounds, but hey, that's what it's all about. People rag on me for have Flowmasters on my Cobra, but I've tried 7 different exhaust systems and I like the Flows above all. The whitewall comment was awesome though!
  2. BRILLIANT! Buying more moofers you say? BRILLIANT!
  3. Truck looks horrible. Wheels suck. Belt is slipping. Sounds like butt. And how do we not know thaat they didn't just throw the wirirng together the same way? Excellent production on the video though. Nice plot as well.
  4. yeah..but don't u feed each 12 like 11kwrms+? i mean, that's a bit different..lol but 11kwrms is quite a bit different then 1.2kwrms... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Yeah, but after you factor in impedance rise, you can bet he's only seeing a third of that around the burping frequency. Still a lot of power. I resort back to my previous answer. And Denim, doubling up on layers isn't as effective as adding simple bracing. IT also adds more weight.
  5. East Coast Team SSAudio meet! That would be sweet!
  6. Very slight loss because of loss of Sd, but probably not much more than 1dB. No loss at all. Sd is Sd. It does not change with the mounting of the driver. That would be like saying a 12" driver loses half an inch when flipped around.
  7. I like that! On another note, stay away from amps!
  8. Denim, As far as I know, the MB Quart of old is still around, but only known as Quart and still producing loudspeakers. THere is a hissy over the name to this day. I have heard rumors of RF's Quart going under, but just that. As far as their amplifiers are concerned, they share no connection with any of the other RF products. If you happen to have the JAnuary 05 issue of CA&E you can read the review on them. That is really what swayed my decision on buying them. Their are a ton of advanced features that are well beyond that of even amplifiers two or three times the price of the Quarts. I myself am not too concerned about something happening to them. If something happens after the one year warranty, there's always K&B audio or someone knowledgeable enough to repair them (Dave Edwards comes to mind). Mine should be in tomorrow, along with the JBL so look for some new threads.
  9. That is fine, but beware that a door is never totally sealed. There is always a greater chance for corrosion in this instance. Just an FYI. It may takle some time before it affects anything, but it WILL eventually happen.
  10. Let me know when you;re getting them and how many you can get. I'd like to pick some up for the hell of it just for the cheap price.
  11. Great accuracy can be achieved with a CS. I do it all the time now that my table is broke. No way in hell I'm paying $85 for a set of brushes either! If you can hack it, get a table saw. If not, get a good CS, a couple good blades, and a STRAIGHT EDGE! OH yeah, clamps are your friend.
  12. Where'd Aaron go? Wasn't he just on my buddy list. We need a poker room!
  13. I'm an idiot. I should've just looked at the sig. I swear I never pay attention to them unless something pops out at me. I'm sure you'll be a happy camper.
  14. Fostex? Gotta be.
  15. Thanks for the info almighty powerful ones. I was going to need some help, but no longer do. Thanks!
  16. as always, How about
  17. Just ordered the Quarts. Might have to sell the JBLs. I just reread the review on them from CA&E. That helped to sawy my decision, well, that and both amps were cheaper than either of the JBLs individually.
  18. Who all on here are Mods at the stupid people forum?
  19. X whatever you want.
  20. No true. Many people are ignorant to the fact that a 4 cylinder in a heavy vehicle will use more fuel and work harder than a larger engine in the same vehicle.
  21. Coming from Crutchfield you get a warranty, awesome CS, and I get it in a day.
  22. Not enough power and it has a fan.
  23. $300 for 1000 CEA compliant watts is a steal. Better than the $700 I paid for the JBL, or the $500 for the Audison.
