No pun intended. I just thought I'd point that out in case it was NOT a fluke and he winds up spending a bit of money on an amp that does not do what it states. And we all know Treo is not cheap.

You mean in mono. It's virtually impossible to find an amp not stable into 2 ohms stereo anymore. I know that's what you meant, but I just wanted to clarify for him in case he did not know. And if it were me, I'd pick something up that does around 400 mono @4 ohms, then wire in series for 200@8. It will stive prove flexible enough for a future upgrade. Also, most mono amps are 2 ohm stable. Add to that the efficiency factor of the new digital amps, it's kinda hard to beat.
