EH, lower than that. SUB-bass is non-directional I can clearly point out my sub crossed anywhere over 55 or so. Could be just me though. Everyone's ears are different.

Too much work for me to be a super whore. Got the black Cutlass going out soon. Then I hope to have the gray one done before the title arrives.

BassBox does not account for a slot port. Just a square port. I use it as a reference for port area, then simply enter 0 for the volume the port displaces, figure out my vent length for desired tuning, then add the interior port walls to the miscellaneous objects inside the enclosure to account for their displacement and BINGO!

To me it really sounds like some transistors on your amp may be blown, but I am just guessing with the little info we have.

Do you have a multimeter? If so, get it out and we can walk you through the process of reading the coils so we can see if they are still okay. Could be a couple other problems as well. Perhaps the amp is damaged? We need some more info.

Take them to your JL dealer if available. Recone on a V1 W6 was $100 per. Well worth it IMO. If not, there are plenty of resources on the net for recones. Do you know exactly what the problem is?
