I'll need all the pieces of mirror cut to fit inside the enclosure walls once assembled. This is really starting to tick me off. Damn Craftsman. Spend $800 on a freaking table saw and they won't even warranty it. Bastids!

1/8" I used a FINE tooth blade on my table saw and it worked brilliantly. Just not trusting the old circular saw for the precision I need on this. I found a nice little place on Ebay to order it from and they have a laser cutter, but I don't even want to know what that is going to cost. Ordered by baffle today. $153 for a freaking 32"x48" piece. $HIT!- Who's the best here?
Sweet! Give me a price! You have the capabilities to cut acrylic?- Who's the best here?
You guys find me some MDF yet? I may be leaving sooner than expected.- Mirrored Emblems on the SS
No emblems! I like a nice monochrome finish. All black is sexy.- Need help with specs for some MTXs
And the response graph. Cone displacement with 300watts. It gets pretty dicey with anything more than 350, so I just graphed @300. Impedance. This is sweet. No more than 9ohms and only below tuning with a small spike near 50Hz. Impressive for a vented enclosure. And finally vent velocity. Pretty good here. Way under any audible numbers. 14m/s seems to be the most, and you'll never see that unless playing below tuning.- Need help with specs for some MTXs
Okay, here goes everything for you. First will be the EM params. The enclosure is 4 cubes with 25sq.in. of port area. The tuning is 26Hz. Vent length is 21.25"- Need help with specs for some MTXs
sweet now I just need to figure a cut sheet and I am off to Home depot Give me your maximum dimensions and I can plug that in there too. I can fit something in. this will be tested in my explorer so there is no limit essentially for 2 tens Those were 10s? I thought they were 8s. NM then, I have the wrong drivers. Back to work I go. Dammit!- Who else ordered the funky pups?
- RE's new sub
I feel sorry for the idiots (for lack of a better term) who are gonna buy these things not knowing what they are getting into. 3.5 cubes is not bad for a 15, but when you take into account that this is the NET vloume, add in the driver, wood, and port displacement, you NET 3,5 cube box just became a gross of 6 cubes. Too much space IMO. And the power! WTF???!!!! The idiots, or should I say ignorant; you know we all were there once, are going to buy these 2KW+ amps and try to run them on stock electrical systems, or better yet buy 3000000000000000000 farads of capacitance only to find out their super driver is now subpar. I like RE myself, but I am beginning to dislike them for the simple reason of the "bandwagon." That's the only reason I don't run JL other than the monetary standpoint. It's all getting too out of hand if you ask me.- Addicted to Power
Let me know if you want to part ways with any of the Strykes.- Pics of 15" install
And the survey says, YOU WIN! You are correct sir. You can do the port through the arm rest, but it won't sound as good as it would with the port and the driver on the same plane...especially since one is actually firing into the cab and the other is firing into the trunk. I have never been one to notice this difference in sound, so correct me if I am wrong here, but once the front wave reflects off the trunk would it not be 180* out? Therefore it would be the same phase as the rear wave or port so there shouldn't be any problems other than the wave being longer which means what? School me master!- Need help with specs for some MTXs
sweet now I just need to figure a cut sheet and I am off to Home depot Give me your maximum dimensions and I can plug that in there too. I can fit something in.- bought my x-mas gift tonite
I'm a small guy and quickly grew tired of lugging my 357magnum around. Nice Rossi revolver. I miss that gun.- Need help with specs for some MTXs
12.25sq." @ 27.39"L The 1.25 is the NET for BOTH drivers and port.- Sooo...
You got it. Thats the way to go. You may want to upgrade the control arms to 98+ also, they have a newer balljoint design that is vastly improved. If you really want to get nasty, you could get the whole ABS setup off a newer car with the Hydraboost and rid youself of the mastercylinder/booster assembly for some more underhood room. Would be rather pricey though I would think.- bought my x-mas gift tonite
I haven't carried since MArch, but I have always used Wilson holsters. At least I think that is the name. They sell them at the local shop and I love them. Pretty pricey though. I think I paid $60 or so for my .25 holster. It was a nice Neoprene one though and held it SNUG, but not too snug for a quick draw.- Need help with specs for some MTXs
1.25 @30.55 They won't handle 500 in that enclosure though. At least as far as the graph said. 300 was the max before cone displacement got out of control. Are you burping them? I know nothing about SPL, so that's not what I was looking for. If you want a higher tune, let me know, I'll throw that in, or more port area.- Need help with specs for some MTXs
Try this. That's as big as I can get it. Won't let me add any attachments so. . .- Need help with specs for some MTXs
Okay, why is it not including my attachment? - Who's the best here?
