YAY!!!! You know what to do now!!! Josh shot down my PR dreams when he mentioned the subtle price of only $250 per PR. No thanks! Let me know ho that sealed enclosure works out. I think Damian is sealing his too?
  3. He seems more concerned about the SPL side rather than good sound. While I personally don't think the Hifonics sounds any different than any other amps I've used, I do tend to notice a difference in sound from one amp to the next. Not all though. I personally feel the components used in the amplifier itself will give it a certain "sound" over another amp of equal ratings and different components.
  4. I could never bring myself to abuse my MAG. It's like beating your child, only worse!
  5. YO!! +1
  6. Hey, that's a GREAT slogan!
  7. That's the beauty of car audio. If you want it, it's easily attainable. Every buyer has a market, that's just the way it is. IMO, it's easier to go with cheap chit anyways. If you stuff breaks, it usually cheaper/less hassling, to go out and buy another one. Besides, everyone knows we could all take $2 speakers and $10 amps and still have some good sounds because we're "experts."

That's why I use FedEx. I can go ground to anywhere in Canada in 6 days max. It's cheap too. Don't know if this was an option for you, but you might want to look into it next time. Or just move here.
  9. And what happened after dinner????!!! You found out they had franks and beans?

Just you old man!!! YO!!! +1!
  11. I hate leather! If you've ever had to care for leather PROPERLY, you'll side against it.
  12. A width of 37" is not going to be very feasible. First of all, with that width, you'd had to have quite a bit of height to get a decent vent area ratio, which you are severly overdoing. Also, with that huge area comes a LONG vent to make a decent tune.
  13. I would say they will need some more volume, but it's just as easy as plugging them in and seeing how they sound. If you like it, go for it, if not, you know what to do.
  14. My question is, why would you even WANT to do that? This thing will get insanely loud off of 600 watts. There's really no need for 2500. I could see a burp moster, but daily. . .
  15. I always disconnect the negative post first so as not to drain the battery while I have the doors open. As for the positive, it stays attached. Then I first figure out where the amp will be placed and go from there really. That will determine what I need to fabricate, wire lengths, and what does or doesn't need to be torn apart. From then on, it's just normal installation in no particular order, then some testing and buttoning everything back up.
  16. 58 Cuz I'm an MTX fan or 17 because stupid people will sit there and ponder the meaning behind the signs.
  17. I think what you use to determine ports is much easier.
  18. Any Cadence amp will be great! Well, given it outputs a generous amount of power.
  19. MY buddy's MAG moves like crazy in a lil 2.3 cube enclosure. But I am the king of stroking!

Steve, did you get your amplifier yet?
  21. So if they're midgets, and they're children, they're probably smaller than the actual drivers themselves. . . So that means, it takes a team of 5 midget children to assemble one driver?
