  1. Happy birthday Old Fart!! Don't worry, I'm 25 and I feel over the hill already. No more upside down sessions installing alarms for me!
  2. You know, I had a similar probelm with an old Crossfire amp. Turns out the connection on the RCA chassis was loose, and I was only getting signal from the left side. You might want to try wiggling the RCAs and see if it helps. If so, there's your culprit. A little solder and a new connector and you're golden.
  3. Great place here. Gettin larger every day! LovE it! oh yeah.................
  4. Watch out! We Hoosiers are taking over! Tick us off and suffer the rath of the Mighty Corn Stalk! Welcome!!!!!!!!
  5. TESTE!
  6. I agree! A nice component arrangement as well as quality components is a sight to behold. Straight and to the point. If it looks good, show it off!
  7. That thing's huge!!! Love the look!!!! MSRP????
  8. Welcome and while I myself am not a fan of the new cosmetics on all the lines, I can say I have never had a poor performing RF product!
  9. I've heard a couple of the older subs, but not this new line. They look impressive no doubt, but I imagine they are over-priced and lacking characteristics common to the many other drivers we discuss here.
  10. Why do I have to live in white trash USA where there's just no fun stuuf going on! I wanna hear these babies!!!!! And whoever said there was more than corn in Indiana wasn't lying..... We have a ton of soybeans too!
  11. Looks very good! Get a finish on that box though. I actually like that amp too. I like the finish and the clean lines. What about the front stage?
  12. Actually, solid cable is more resistive than multi-strand. You see solids used a lot in home because it's high voltage/low current. As to the benefit of one or the other in the audio world, are we ever going to notice a"better" or "different" sound because of what wire we used, I doubt it.
  13. Kinda scare me to port one in my buddy's Camaro. What RF you runnnin?
  14. Yeah, backplate, that's what I meant. I always get those mixed up.
  15. Black, you think? Green is my favorite color and the car and everything in it is black, so I figured I'd offset it a lil.
  16. It does it whether the amp has a load on it or not. I think it's just screwed.
  17. Well, it was so nice out today, I decided I'd rip all my carpet out and get it ready for when my eDead arrives. Also did some work on the baffle. Here's some pics so you guys can get an idea. Here's 2 shots of the 15 mounted and hanging from the baffle. And here's one peering down through the 6x9 hole. Still waiting for it to get a little warmer so I can glass the baffle and finish it up. I'm also thinking about painting the top plate of the MAG a translucent green? What ya think?
  18. Because that wire wrapped around the screws is not a secure connection... Now I know you don't want the wires coming loose and the capacitor poles touching each other do ya? If you do, better stand back.
  19. Looking good but you need to get yourself some wire terminals...
  20. Not too sure. Not sure if he has any clue what he is doing whatsoever. I really think he screwed it up and is trying to place the blame elsewhere.
  21. Well, if the most volume you have is 7 cubes, make it 7 cubes. Port if you like, but you have been warned. No offense but if you just want to get stinking loud and not sound good, I don't think you should go with Magnums.
