I will be running the MAG 15 in IB. Waiting on the driver to arrive so I can finish the baffle. Now if you are looking for output, this is not the application for you. IMO, IB apps tend to just bring a natural "blend" of the subbass rather than sheer output.

ONce you get the driver installed, that little bit of volume you have left will come out to be about .5 cubic feet if you are lucky. Now you can raise the floor a bit to gain some more volume, but I don't think you want to go through all that.

I have been suspect of the D2s capability since it's introduction. After seeing how well the 12" version fared (never hearing 1 bad thing about it), and listening to Clarke sing me praises of SI, I took the plunge. But I'm getting 2 big boy! I have no doubt I will be pleased. One will be in an IB app, the other in a 4 cube vented to 25 Hz in a 95 Camaro. Can you say BOOM??!! Oh yeah, I'm getting a shirt too!

What exactly do you do??? I'm a huge Stang freak, and I'm trying to get my foot in the door somewhere to be a tech. I remember my money days. It was quite nice. Then you get as*hole politics and a POS union involved and you get screwed. Oh well.

How can you do that when you don't even own a drill???!!!

Actually if you use wood glue, it will bond the joint together and that will actually be stronger than the wood itself. The wood will break before the bond will fail. I use screws as a clamp only. Somtimes I remove them after the glue has cured, other times I just cover the heads with wood putty. Either way, if you build it CORRECTLY, you should have no problems with any driver tearing the enclosure apart.

I, personally don't agree with this. Certain companies have their own forum, so the whole place is kinda like a home for the fans. You start mixin stuff up and people can be a*sholes and I don't want to see that happen here. There are a lot of Adire Fans over at CAT, and they are all very cool, but I feel once you start mixing everyone together and immature people come along, it can get ugly. It would be Koo, no doubt, but I just don't think it would work to well. Especially when you get the, "what's better, Magnum or Brahma?" thread.

You got it. I originally had planned to use the Kicker RMB8s in the doors. Then I got ahold of 3 pairs of Vifa PLs, so I built custom vented enclosures for the doors. I ended up not liking them however, so here I am with 1 pair of RMB8s sitting around, and thought I'd go a little crazy and get another pair. I can't really say enough about these Kickers. A lot of people say Kickers don't sound good, but these puppies put out some punch down to around 30Hz in car, running IB in the door. I hooked my first pair up fullrange and they took all the 300 watts I was giving them.. I am really happy with their performance.

Well, Duke lost tonight. MAryland, and NC State look really hot. I really don't think St. Josephs will make it past the sweet 16. If they get a tough seed, they may not make it out of the first round. ACC seems to be the way to go. We'll see when the pairings come out.

Here are a few pics of the baffle so far. This will be suspended just below the deck and will fire through the cut-outs for the 6x9s. I still have to stretch some fleece and glass and bondo though.

I have always had an affection for IB. I had my car set up for some smaller drivers of a different company, you could say I had an eVirus , but now things have changed. I have listened to Clarke just hype the hell out of the Mags for quite a while now, so the opportunity was presented and here I am. Hopefully, Nick, you will come out with some other drivers and I can be lucky enough to try those too. I just hope this thing will satisfy me. I don't see why it will not, especially with 4 8s in the doors picking up the midbass chores. Now hurry up and get shipping!! J/K!
