Your talking about the fuse at the battery? yea, i bought a 50A fuse for my inline fuse holder at the battery hoping it will hold me untill i got my circuit breaker. the AQ1200 itself has three 40A fuses. those are for the internal part of the amp the might not blow if other things are wrong. You need to talk to a amp expert. Yea. I may take it to the shop who did my installation. And ill also give AudioQue a call. There are people on this form that are more amp savy,buts its Sunday.

Could be the remote turn on.

New box for the zcon or a spacer.

If you have a dmm check the ohms on the sub coils.

My new icon will be going in it.

Could you tell if is was coming from the amp? First I would check all you wiring connections.Are you running a 1ohm load? When you pulled the fuse and checked it you probably reset the protect mode on the amp.

I had a term lab but sold it for money. I thank you for the help now I just need something near MI. You had a TL but don't know how to burp a sub.......... Never used it but to measure spl never had the power to burp.

Yeah I guess I should have just said that. :facepalm: Just trying to learn.

So If I want to burp the sub the life will be short. Depends on a lot of factors. Time length of run, power used, enclosure, amplifier settings. I could see one person burp the same driver without ever needing recones for several years, while another person completely melts the coils and needs a recone in five minutes. Just trying to see if its worth trying to compete.
