I have a jeep liberty. When I ran a 15 xcon I used port up. On a 12 gcon I ran it port back. Either way seems to work fine except when the port is to close to the hatch. Like closer then 6". It all depends on the suv. You may have to do trial method to see which works the best for you.
Will you just sell one?

Is it a 2015 or a 2014?
I think there are definite trade offs, but I've always preferred screws like on my alpine and the old boss havoc 665. You can always buy allen screw drivers. That would be a option. I have had a lot of problems with screws on sundown amp stripping out.
Nice review, but I disagree with you on philiips type screws. They round off to easy if you don't use a good screw driver. Just my opinion. Allens are the why to go.

Now that is what extra headroom is! A lot of amp for that sub. Be careful with the gain or better yet get a sub that would match up better. Till you get your other subs.
