To me it all comes down to how much time you spend in your car. Most of the time I am not in my vehicle long enough to need a sound system that is close to perfect. -

I have had great results with sound quebed amps!! The dcon is a much better choice from my experiance.

With dual fours you can't do .5 ohms. Run a class D mono at 2k or 2.5k @1 ohm.Sorry I am wrong but 2k @ 2 ohms is cheaper With duel 4's he can run at .5 ohms. 4ohm+4ohm=2ohm x4. 2ohm+2ohm=1ohm.x2 then 1ohm+1ohm=.5ohm. So yes with 4 duel4 subs you can wire at .5ohms.Yes you can I was wrong, but running at .5 ohms if its a daily driver isn't good. Are you going to run two subs off each channel?

Get a battery tender and use that to charge them. If you drive the car every day you shouldn't have to charge them.Or use a charger like Jon said.

I wouldn't buy a used battery unless it is only a year old or so agm from a excellent seller.
Why do you need a two channel with that much power per channel?
I don't think you could go wrong with either sub.
