Don't try and compensate by turning the gain up & bass boost. That could kill the sub.

I have used dcons, gcons,icons,xcons & now my first zcon. This is one beast of a sub. You can't beat it for sq or spl in this price range. Thanks SSA!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would move up to a gcon if you want to run watts 600rms.

If you have a Sears store near you. I would get their 34 series platinum agm battery. If thats not enough then you will have to add a second battery near the amps.

I think it depends on the vehicle.
