Hello DC, I was just wondering if you guys had an Alt for the 2009 Malibus? I have a 2.4 Ecotec and idk much about the stock one. Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the help bro. I will gladly answer. 1.I will and can afford to get 3-4 batteries. The alternator I have now should be fine with the big 3 included as well. 2.I am getting a Pioneer 4200d for my birthday January 7th. 3.I will need a EQ, right now I am leaning towards a Eclipse Eq1000 4.I will be getting 2 sets of crescendo components and making custom kick panels on my 2 front doors for them wrapped in suede. And as far as the amps go. I currently own 1-Sundown 2000d and I plan on getting another within the next month. And as far as the box goes because I am walling I can fit 20 cubes after displacement and ports.

To good to be true...... the subs are dual 2 and won't work for me and they expect me to pay retail on 4 hifonics amps to get my deal on the Havocs and it just isn't economical for me This will be my build. Sorry for the confusion.

I know I have been wishy washy with EVERY idea I have came up with and I have asked you guys a million in a half different Q's but I have FINALLY come to a build decision after some recent news. I will be running/showing my car for a local company and helping them get their name out there. . I have done a few things since then and have even more things going on before March(start of all the florida shows). I didn't plan on walling it but after I got this offer I really couldn't say no! 4 15" Ascendant Audio Havocs 2 Sundown Audio 2000ds 1 ZED Build Boss Rev-665 for the highs 4 Deka Batts The big 3 2 sets of Moralhifi components I might edit things a little but this is it for the most part I am so siked I am getting the chance to represent a company and do what I love all at the same time! I will have vids and pics soon!

lol the back actually has some clearance and the wheels don't actually turn like the front so I should be ok. I have drivin with a few ppl in the back and had no problems plus a ton of luggage

So I am pretty set on putting 4-12s in my malibu. I have been looking into the AQ HDC3 12s and they look beast as well as the AA Havoc 12s. What I'm looking for with this thread is what sub do you guys think I should go with? I can put each sub in a box about 2-2.5 cubes each, and I will be running a Sundown 2000d on each pair so roughly 1000-1250 watts each sub. The thing with the 4-12 setup is the space, I have 42w, 34 length, and 12-15 Height. At first I was thinking subs up port back would be the best bcz I don't know how I could fit subs back port back with only 42 inches of room? SO yea any ideas on subs and a box design would be great

I was thinking 2-18" DC Lvl4 XLs on 2 Sundown 2000ds in a 12 cube box walled

SA 12s, SSD 12s, AQ Hdc3 12s not really decided? But why so anti the wall idea? I won't really need the back seats for anything

ok just found out... I can either wall my car off and get 2-18s or wall it with 6 12s OR stay low key and put 4 12s in the trunk subs up port back?

I can't decide whether to go with AQ Hdc3 12s, SSD 12s, or SA 12s I can give them about 2 cubes per sub ported with a sundown 2000d on each pair

i agree with you on that.....I'm done with the 18" idea. I'm kind of skeptical about 4 12's though. They ask optimal 1.5 cube each ported. I could easily give them that? Wouldn't that be my perfect scenario? I would stay right at two bro...... pick up another 2k and ROCK OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well I just bought my first sundown 2000d today and it will probably come in next week. I was hoping to smack one of those on each sub....or maybe just give 1 amp to each pair if I did 4? Because I know those things will push them at around 1200+each and they ask for 1500

ohhh and after thinking about it because they are smaller I could probably get 4 BTL 12s in there because they only ask 1.75-2.5 per sub? Yea i would have to buy another few SA 2000ds but I think the surface area on 4 12s and the fact that It's just more in general that it would beat. I can probably pull off over 2 cubes per sub after its all said and done? EDIT: Just also looked into some DC Level 4 XL 12s and they ask 1.5 ported optimal.....IMO that would beast but maybe some one can share there opinion with me on 4 12s
