18" Subwoofer Dilema!
Opinions wanted I'm looking to build my box between 6-8 cubes I will be running around 3,000 watts RMS to the sub I want to spend between 400-600 $ I am not going for SPL at all, I want pure loudness and lows With that said, I have talked with quite a few people about this decision I need to make within the coming weeks and so far I have a few I am very interested in. 1.DC Audio Level 4 XL 18" 2.Fi Audio BTL N2 18" 3.DD Audio 9500G 18" 4.SSA ZCON 18" All I want are opinions about which I should go with while keeping all of my needs in check Any help is greatly appreciated and right now I'm leaning towards the DD! Check this out as well, sooo sick! 4 15" DDs

Hello from St. Pete Florida!

Floridians look here!
Hello fellow floridians . I am in the first couple stages of making a car club based out of central florida. Our club logo has been made as well as decals for all the cars. Our club name is Southern Comfort, we wanted something to do with the south and I think we nailed it with this club name. My name is Ryan, I am 23 years old and I currently reside in Orange City Florida which is about 30 mins north of Orlando. I am a Information Technologist at a Urology office in orlando during the day, and I spend hours after work with my gf and my other gf(my bu) . As for the club, I want to have monthly meets with all the guys and eventually grow the club out to all parts of florida. Once a month isn't to bad to drive a few hours away, for me anyways lol. I own a 2009 fully paid off Chevy Malibu and I love it. I will post a link of my cardomain page if you care to check it out. I am also 2 months away from starting my 18" Fi BTL wall install I just need to buy all the goodies over the next month and then it will begin! http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3895603/2009-chevrolet-malibu-ls and here is our FB page I recently made to help get our name out through networking. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Southern-Comfort-Customs/180542551961775?v=wall Let me know if you know ANYONE, who has a sick car and is currently looking for a club to join. I really hope this works out because I love sharing my love for cars with other people. The cars in our club so far are my 2009 Malibu, Erics 2011 Green Camaro, and Johns(owns a custom everything business) 2007 Mazda3. Help spread our name as well if you can amongst other people too You never know who you might be able to find through networking !! Thanks for your time!

ZCON Prototype
we are hoping 6-8 weeks, but there are no promises. ok thanks for the info I think I will be waiting on one of these beasts
-
ZCON Prototype
OK so someone please shed some light on my situation lol. I plan on starting my build in about 2 months. Should I wait for one of these or stick with the Fi BTL 18"? I'm curious to know when they will be out for purchase!
-
ZCON Prototype
any timeline for a release? If all tests go well?
-
BTL N2 people
even if they were not backed up it still takes a good week for payment to process, at least a week for build lead time, and then a week to ship now I don't know if I should get the SSA ZCON or the BTL
-
ZCON Prototype
greattt......now to decide to wait on one of these? Or stick with 1-18" Fi BTL About how long would it take to get them sellable?
-
BTL N2 people

1-18" BTL or 2-18" Xcons???
P chamfer is automatically included in cooling... You DO want cooling, it increases the thermal capacity of the sub and allows it to run cooler You DO want the HiXmCoil, it ads xmax and from personal experience it DOES make the sub much more intense Universal.... you only want it if you'd ever have to recone the sub to a different coil resistance (for wiring changes) I have had what you are doing. You will absolutely love the 3k + BTL sickkkk....thanks for all of your help No problem, you will now have the power to turn heads, shake anything around you, and control your heart beat..... use your new found power wisely... well you will but what's important is how big of a smile your going to have the first time you hit that crazy low bass note and stuff goes flying inside your vehicle. yea I had a 18" Solo X in my 03 yukon before I got this malibu but it was only on 1500 watts and it quaked. Hopefully this will be a step up
