  1. This model has VERY basic crossovers... selectable HPF / LPF with no subsonic. LPF = 50-250 Hz HPF = 50-1000 Hz Prototype has selectable bass boost but I may just remove that. It is also made at the same Chinese factory as our SAE-1200D rather than in Korea like the SAX-100.4
  2. I have a prototype SAE-100.4 on the way with my 1200D shipment... here are a few pictures of it to share : It features a new double sided board design like the SAE-1200D v.2 does. Crossovers are very basic as it is an SAE model and it is also made in China alongside the SAE-1200D. This will NOT replace any SAX multi-channel models... it is simply a part of our lower cost SAE line. There is NO ETA YET... price is also pending.
  3. Triple joint ring installed : Custom sub I am building for a customer... so I tried one out on there It is glued with thick CA at the bottom @ the spiders, thin CA is filled in for the thickness of the ring between it and the former, then thick CA applied again on the coil winding side in the angled part on the back of the ring. Gives alot of glue surface area and makes it VERY hard to break the rear joint.
  4. I am expecting these to go quick... so if you want them get the pre-order in early.
  5. 150-200 is a good estimate
  6. We'll call it $75 each -- so 300 total for four.

There will be very little price difference to the 10.
  8. Okay guys - as always the ETA was wrong from my last post. I am now being told I should have them AROUND Wednesday next week. This doesn't mean everybody call me Wednesday -- I'll ship em AS SOON AS they get here
  9. Still a 3" coil driver -- I expect power handling on par with my Monster... which handled power like a 4" coil Cost will not be a whole lot more than the v.1 model was.
  10. D4 are almost gone... have a fair amount of D2.
  11. These are getting low but are still available.
  12. I may consider special orders for 10s.
  13. Getting low... but still have some !
  14. I have a Neo in the works for the future... but it doesn't fit in the Nightshade price bracket.
  15. They are VERY expensive... so this is not Neo.
  16. It is pretty difficult to blow a BTL... it is not uncommon for me to hear from customers running SAZ-3000s and 3500Ds on their BTLs without tearing them up.
  17. My May-June estimate is very conservative... I have a few other parts I want to get in line first -- voice coils, soft parts, etc. It is indeed still 9" slugs... otherwise the motor is different in every measurement except the OD of the pole compared to the NS v.1
  18. That is all you get until the prototype is here I will post pictures of a fully assembled woofer when it shows up ! (There are no other pictures of it uploaded anywhere on the server either)
  19. Possibly... re-send them.
  20. I am sure they would do pretty well... they will work sealed too, but ported is much better.
  21. #3 and #7 still available.
  22. Still have some of these !!!
  23. Very few.
  24. Z v.2 -- ETA January SA-8 -- ETA February SA-10 / 15 -- ETA March-April NS v.2 -- ETA May-June The only new amplifier on schedule right now is the SAZ-4500D... first run sold out, second run perhaps March. It would be sooner but we have 3 weeks of delays from upcoming Chinese New Year + CES.
