  1. Looking at a pre-sale price of around $119 shipped + qty discounts ! So... 1x SA-8 = $119 2x SA-8 = $109 each 4x or more SA-8 = $99 each Shipped in continental 48 states cost.
  2. At 1 ohm on a 12v system with only one amp... performance is on par with the SAZ-1500D and maximum current draw is similar. With the SAZ-1500D you gain the ability to run 18v, strap amps, and run under 1 ohm for competitions.
  3. The SA-12 is ~26 lbs and this won't be a whole lot lighter... motor is only 10mm narrower.
  4. Linear x-max is closer to ~16mm or so by 70% BL -- the triple joint will hit frame / top plate at around 20mm or so... so it's pretty much linear up until right before the frame runs out of room.
  5. Bit more information... motor is based on the SA-12 (10 and 15 are the same as well) but reduced magnet OD by 10mm and the coil to 2" from 2.5" so a decent sized spider could be used. Due to the smaller coil rating dropped to 400 RMS... but it retains all of the cooling features of the bigger SA drivers. This motor is unique to the SA-8 only -- none of our other drivers share it. Travel is limited by the frame to around ~20mm each way... which is alot on an 8" driver.
  6. I haven't tested it yet... but the design isn't a whole lot different from the SA-12 except having a smaller cone and using a 2" coil rather than 2.5" -- so I'd say it would sound great. Price is TBA.
  7. 400 RMS I suggest small ported... it's not as good sealed as the E8 was, but better ported. 0.4-0.6 ported tuned to 30-40 Hz will be sick.
  8. It's big... just narrow enough that you can use the terminals and mount it easily.
  9. We do not = SSA People get that confused alot Anyway... we have been very busy for the last few months ship time is up to 2-3 business days.
  10. Possibly... out of frames.
  11. Should be interesting when completed !
  12. With 8-9 cubes rear two 18s would work well, IMO. Tuning sounds like a good starting point... although, large 6th orders are a great deal of trial and error.
  13. Indeed -- that could be it.

The SAE-1000D was still made in the same factory as the SAZ series -- the SAZ version has beefier power supply parts and a thicker casing. Starting with the SAE-1200D we moved the SAE line to a different factory.
  15. Most of the technology from this prototype will be included in the Nightshade v.2 next year.
  16. 14 lbs SAX-100.4D
  17. 12kw is a bit much for someone who is not an experienced SPL competitor to use on 8 of the SA-12s If you go sealed you only need 8 cubes for 8 of the SA-12s... 12 cubes is enough room to port them.
  18. Sounds like you could fit two woofers... back chamber is a LITTLE small for two 18s but sounds perfect for two 15s.
  19. Which 100.4 version ?
  20. How many subs ?
  21. Probably not -- will likely have the Jeep.
  22. Got a little work done : I decided to use 2x8" lumber rather than 2x4" lumber... LOT less cutting.
  23. Indeed -- I accidentally sent USPS last time as I had a big batch of stuff going USPS.
  24. Nice - I would have bought it at that
