  1. ~0.15 cubes
  2. really? i thought that played a large role. like i thought if it was 90db sensitive and u had 2 it would be 93 and then you double the wattage each time and that increases the db by 3 ... then if u have a hatch it adds around 16db Not at all on subwoofers -- lower sensitivity drivers tend to have MORE low-end output.
  3. Looks like I have one left.
  4. That is fine -- please tell SSA to include the shirt w/ the order so they can add it to your PO.
  5. So... the other day I shipped an amp to the town I grew up in -- Severn, MD. Thought that was cool 2.8 miles from the house I used to live in.
  6. The SAZ-4500D is capable of 5 kw + on a 12v system and 7 kw + on an 18v system.
  7. Hey guys, not avoiding anyone but I am behind on e-mails by a day or two due to the holiday. Will work to get through them as soon as I can.
  8. Refurbished from dB-R are as good as new. I would actually suggest to strap two SAZ-1000D @ 2 ohms for the Xcon.
  9. I have a bunch of e-mails that I still am trying to get to !
  10. SAX-50.4 is plenty... those are rated 60 RMS and the 50.4 can do over 60 per channel.
  11. From dB-R ? Excellent pricing on those for sure!
  12. I believe that kit is pretty complete with everything you need.
  13. Any specific questions feel free to ask. Basically hook up battery + and - and remote... then RCA cables... then speaker wires. Done!
  14. 900 would be okay -- just specify for 2 spiders instead of 3.
  15. Wiring is easy -- the manual has instructions
  16. We have the pole plug (which is now standard) and a longer coil (which all 18s have had and is now standard) and can also add more spiders if necessary.
  17. These are used. dB-R are refurbished and a great deal.
  18. They are just used.
  19. Your RCA connector may be loose or cracked - that is a thought.
  20. The only other four channel we have is the SAX-100.4 The close-out sale is on until I close the thread.

    Nice !
  24. Generally the Radio Shack ones work great -- the really cheap ones. For two amps gain matched you can use a telephone cord Y-Splitter to control both. It's really not that hard to get them matched close enough that there is effectively no difference -- we matched six amps in the 160 dB @ 34 Hz build
  25. You can gain match them separately -- if you are within 0.1v or so it's perfect. Generally if there is a noise when strapped it can be resolved by changing the RCA cable between the amps.
