What did it do on the meter with the LVL-5 ? -
If you only want to play up to a maximum of 300 Hz it will be fine.

They all get tested before going out so it obviously won't blow up instantly or would have when it was tested. The filters are also insulated with enamel.

Motor support is mandatory!
More power this time... current clamp shows ONE coil. We hooked each coil up to a seperate 120v circuit for a total power of ~8800 watts at the start, dropped to the 7000s then stayed around that point until failure at 30 seconds. Prior to this video we had JUST finished plugging it in to one socket in series for around 2000 watts for FIVE MINUTES - so it was already hot! The Monster lives up to it's name. If you are wondering about the frame... Brandon had two in his wall without motor supports and it broke off some of the screws allowing the bottom to swing out and break off the top of the frame. So... motor supports are a must.

You need at least two Group-31 batteries and at least a 200-amp alternator to even think about it if you intend to REALLY use the full power constantly.
There she is Basically stretched the current amp out so it is as close to matching as possible. Feet moved to the ends to keep width increase down as much as possible.

12.8 is rest battery voltage -- meaning you have exceeded the alternator capacity but have not yet started to really dig into the battery reserve deeply.

Please mount these well too - I tracked down almost 100% of the failed amps to vibration from poor mounting. Just an FYI.
If it is not shutting off it is probably not too hot.
Sensitivity is NOT really important for SUB bass application.

Prototype is here Motor force measure 40% higher than E8 (more SPL)... Qts came out lower than I was anticipating so it would not be as good of a sealed driver as the E8. X8 F3 Sealed = 66 Hz E8 F3 Sealed = 51 Hz Testing will be forth coming... most to come once I get home from vacation.
