Peak score : 153.4 dB (did not clamp power this time) Power Clamp Results : Volume 35/50 - 148.8 dB / 1230 watts Volume 40/50 - 152.0 dB / 2990 watts Volume 50/50 - 153.3 dB / 4960 watts Since adding new dampening to the floor and changing my amp rack I haven't tested for a new frequency - I am still using 53 Hz like from my dampener log. I also have not played with box position yet - with my new rack the box is farther forward than before. So - it could probably be a little louder but I am just playing around with the prototype right now I am using my Extech True Power clamp - holding the burp for ~5-6 seconds to get my reading.

I am clamping power as well - I am impressed Results coming once I fire off a few more burps.

The latest built prototypes are D4 coils for testing purposes. Testing two 3000Ds @ 1 ohm each now on one of them in my single 15" enclosure - results are very good so far Will post shortly.

What kind of power at 8 ohm bridged would the IDQ get? ~200 watts or so.

Can you run the component set to one set of channels @ 2 ohms and then the woofer at 8 ohms on the other set bridged ?

This is what I did to the floor in the back : This is what I found when I pulled up the rear carpet (WOW): --- My Jeep came right off of a farm when I got it... when I burp it a bunch of "dirt" always falls off. Well, I inspected some of this dirt in my shop and it is actually rusted metal flakes mixed with old mud *laughs* So... lets hope the Jeep lasts long enough to reach my SPL goals :) I was not able to meter the gain here as I had the entire system out re-working the amplifier rack for my new enclosure and new buss bars - you can see the new buss bars here : http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=401848

Amp rack will cover the batteries so there will be very little chance of short once everything is assembled.

* I have just a little bit of aluminum here. * Front brackets to hold them in place will be aluminum angle just like the bars. * Allen bolts + lock washer + brass washer (have one on both sides) * This is where the wires will connect for the amps, grounds, flux caps, etc

If you use channels 3+4 and enable the LPF for a subwoofer that is what it controls.

It has 3x 30 amp fuses.

Back for testing. The motor force is lower than we anticipated so this prototype may end up as the Nightshade v.2 next year The motor force is dead on for that. Made some changes to reduce moving mass compared to the Nightshade - so SPL should be improved along with power handling.
