Just got em back from the machine shop - had to get the holes tapped for basket bolts. I talked to the machine shop about making an optional heat plate as well... would bolt between the basket and top plate. May be an option on these

Well... I started using "Sundown" as a screen name years ago for playing video games and whatnot. Used for games such as Diablo, Ultima Online, etc. I've been using it on car audio forums since 2001 but have been using it much longer than that. I got the idea to use the name from an old rock band from the 70s that my Dad listened to when I was a kid - this particular song:

I'd say a 1kw amp daily wouldn't hurt these. I put 1800 on one on a sine wave for a few minutes and didn't blow it... so they are pretty stout. thats sweet to know, do you know when they will be available?
