The safest place to start is 5000 Hz HPF on tweeters and 5000 Hz LPF on mids + adjusting the subsonic on the mids up about 1/3 turn. Find out the FS of your tweeter and that will help adjusting it.

I actually do not suggest CA on the dust caps - in my experience CA does not stick well at all to poly. 5-minute epoxy or clear GOOP does, though

We actually quit using CA glue for everything except gluing the spiders to each other. I suggest a 5-minute epoxy for the dust cap. Did those come from me or Mike on CA.com ? New or old revision ?

I have a temporary phone (vintage 1997)... so anyone who has been trying to call me should be able to now.

Finally got a tech here... seems my phone is broken. It still rings and is powered on... but it has no dial tone (cordless phones),I cannot talk to anyone, and I don't know who called when I missed the call. New Phone time I suppose.

You could probably do that if you wanted. I have ran the line-out of the 100.4 back into channels 3+4 with input into 1+2 before and had no problems.

*laughs* I would use it as a business line but it doesn't work at home OR at the shop most of the time. I'd cancel it too and try another service if I wasn't locked in a contract with Sprint.

Anyone trying to call me my phone IS NOT working at the shop. AT&T is taking their time fixing it... I've had no dial tone since last Tuesday afternoon. I was gone most of the time and was hoping they would fix it but hey have not... have called several times today from my cell with no results yet. Apparently I have to pay outrageous pricing for "commercial grade" service but they have all day to fix my problems.

Changes: 1) New casing w/ 10mm thicker top and fins under the face for cooling 2) New casing also has a few more fins on the side and mirrored part number print (silk screen) 3) We have added several new screws to the PCB board on the very latest amps to help prevent damage from excessive vibration. Any 3000D out there is not old enough to suffer any damage from sitting around. Electrolytic caps shouldn't see any issues for well over 10 years.

My size (large) seemed to run a bit large.

you strapped two different brand amps together.. Nah - his single amp was a different brand vs. the two amps.

FEMM is a free FEA package for magnetics - it is what we use. We don't do full PCB design in house just yet Maybe in a few more years!

Even 1.5 dB is not a huge difference unless you compete in SPL. Your woofer will be loud with either amplifier.
