  1. Congrats to everyone on Team Sundown for a great showing at MECA Finals!
  2. For "more SQ" I'd go with Qs - but since you are running dual 15s I imagine output is pretty important to you. Two Nightshade 15s vented is brutal - but you will need ALOT more port area.
  3. You could sell the first one - we aren't looking at taking any trade-ins on them.
  4. We are strongly considering offering a copper coil later on, yes. It worked wonderfully to give a low FS without losing much efficiency - thanks to the higher motor force.
  5. Yes, the used amp for $325 is still available.
  6. It is a one of a kind right now - so there is no pricing or anything just yet
  7. Which test ? The bench test was Track #18 on Bass Mekanik 5.0 My Jeep peaks @ 50 Hz, that is where we burped it.
  8. Copper coil is almost twice as heavy. It also raised motor force about 50% as you get more windings in the gap for a given resistance (smaller wire). Of course this is necessary to help off-set the higher mass. The spider is slightly softer than stock as well. Both of these drop the Fs - the coil mass was the #1 factor, though. Cooling is a dome shaped pole cover that re-directs air behind the former - works quite well
  9. * 149.5 TL Score on the dash, legal * Free air testing after the build We build this sub for a low Fs for a special application to try it out... Fs was 31 Hz after very little break-in so I expect it to settle around 28 Hz or so, dead on with what our goal was. Still did quite well in the Jeep despite being optimized for another application!
  10. I would do the 100.4 with 4 channels at 4 ohms so you can use fader and balance to get the output you desire from each one.
  11. This is probably going to be the smallest A/B 4-channel that we make.
  12. We will have 12s through 18s in regular production once our motors and baskets arrives. 10s will be special order, but can be made.
  13. We can build them on request when motors and baskets are in stock.
  14. Our next shipment of motors is due right around the same time as the amps (the 21st) then we will be able to build more with options
  15. Got it!
  16. That is the only Nightshade 18 that I am aware of for sale. Customized Nightshades will be available from dealers soon.
  17. Roughly $819 MSRP -- street price pending.
  18. Low end is great - they were optimized for the most low-end possible.
  19. These are going to fly out of here again at the pre-order rate!
  20. They are about the same power wise... the 100.2 was already doing well over 125 per channel. Just time for a part number change as it was obscenely under-rated, the small number scared some people away. Don't know why, the extra power will give em cleaner output with less noise People that don't realize they are obscenely underrated are the ones I am speaking of
  21. Indeed, they won't like 5000 watts
  22. You need two of them! :bigclap:
  23. Yep, they are repaired amps. Work as good as new - obviously they are used but they tend to be in excellent shape (Chris will note if there is any excessive wear and tear).
