    Wow, thats alot of speakers
  2. Indeed - we will move towards higher power testing in the future - I want to use four SAZ-3000Ds on it for that testing My test vehicle has only two Powermaster D3100s and factory alternator so my usable power is under 5000-watts I'd guess. I have a 225 amp alternator on the way in a few weeks and at least one more Powermaster D3100 to add.
  3. Slid box to drivers side and move both seats forward (seat backs upright) - did 150.7 with the box just moved over to drivers side.
  4. Oh yah... this is one of two "monster" motor designs we are testing. The other motor isn't ready yet - I am testing two different approaches to the beast to see which one works better
  5. Lower Qts? Nah, the Qts isn't very low on them
  6. At 2.8 ohms actual This amp handles impedance rise and higher loads very well.
  7. I check my e-mail very often, that works quite well most times
  8. http://www.db-r.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1219867818 Chris @ db-r reviews the 1200D, very good results at high impedance rise levels! Max Power Tests, with no regard to clipping: 40hz 65VAC 23Amps @ 12.5V = 1495 watts @ 2.8 Ohms 60hz 51VAC 25Amps @ 12.0V = 1275 watts @ 2.04 Ohms 65hz 48VAC 27Amps @ 12.0V = 1296 watts @ 1.78 Ohms Unclipped (clean sine wave output) Power Tests: 40hz 55VAC 14Amps @ 13.2V = 770 watts @ 3.93 ohms 52hz 40VAC 20 Amps @ 12.5V = 800 watts @ 2 ohms 60hz 38VAC 22Amps @ 12.5V = 836 watts @ 1.73 ohms 69hz 39VAC 22Amps @ 12.7V = 858 watts @ 1.78 ohms --- Chris was unable to get a lower impedance on his bench setup as he is running a sealed box woofer.
  9. This model is still a prototype. shame! I wanted to absolutely prove it: D what is expected to exit? sundownz, you have msn? I am not sure on a release date for this one - we are testing quite a few new things with it. I do not have an MSN account.
  10. The small run of 4 awg is fine.
  11. This model is still a prototype.
  12. I'll see about getting some other woofers to test against - of course without building multiple enclosures optimized for each driver that is a tough test to call fair. My SPL drivers (Nightshade and this guy) tend to like a bit smaller boxes than many other SPL woofers.
  13. These are not suitable for usage under 1 ohm or high voltage for competition - they are also don't have strapping built in. Other than that they are quite similar to the 1500D @ 1 ohm on a regular car electrical system.
  14. Nope, 100.2 works very well on sub duty.
  15. It should work fine on a 3 ohm component set load.

Going to close this one - getting too negative.
  17. The 1500 is a powerful amp therefore draws a good bit of current when cranked up - just how it is
  18. Not yet. We are still testing to see just how much we have to do to keep it together. If it takes more time and supplies to build that will effect the price.
  19. Yes - it is like the current SAE-1000D but upgraded a bit.
  20. I am not sure that these can be sold to the UK as they are not RoHs compliant or CE certified.
  21. I received word that these are scheduled to hit the west coast in a few days.
  22. Only 8 more days!
  23. I'll be testing that whenever I can - my Jeep needs alot of work to fit the amps and to power them.
