  1. In a midrange is also effects the frequency response - which is why it is used for this driver.
  2. There are about 20 of these left.
  3. This is a raw speaker - you will need to acquire crossovers and tweeters on your own. The price for one 6.5" midrange driver will be under 100 dollars. These are not a generic driver at all so they are not dirt cheap. I will hold off on any further power suggestions until I do further testing.
  4. Neodymium magnet structure - much smaller and lighter. Cone is treater / waterproofed paper. I will rate them 50 watts full bandwidth - with a proper HPF filter using more power should not present a problem. These will cost under $100 each MSRP.
  5. Midrange / Mid-bass Could be used 2-way or 3-way. Will prefer a low tweeter crossover** point but can be used as high as 5k with some EQ work (either boost up high or cut down low to level it out). ** - I wonder what tweeter it would work well with? Hmmm
  6. Indeed, not many drivers under 2.5" depth out there... much less with this much linear excursion.
  7. Fairly ghetto box we had pulled out of someones car... 4 cubes per sub tuned to 23 hz. Sounds pretty sick all in all for what it is. The highest score is actually the 29 Hz score *laughs* In any event, he plans to build another box for four 15s and actually tune it properly.
  8. * Peak Score 6.5 feet away - 128.2 dB on music http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PkKPgifYfvA * 25 Hz peak SPL - 140.4 dB http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K0vYteGwShg * 29 Hz peak SPL - 141.4 dB
  9. Will be testing A/B in Nick @ Stereo Integrity's Civic vs. his Adire Koda mid.
  10. Will be doing A/B testing left to right vs. other mids.
  11. Maybe I'm working on a tweeter to go with it too - but who knows.
  12. Working on it as fast as I can
  13. * 2 3/16" mounting depth - 2.1875" * Compact neo cup motor * Shallow paper cone with inverted rubber surround * Very compact basket ----- This driver has a full 8mm one-way linear excursion in a 2 3/16" deep package. Still in prototype phase... may add even more extensive shorting rings to the motor for production, pending listening tests in a vehicle. Not a fancy "looking" driver - all business in the shallowest package possible. Un-matched for linear excursion in this depth as far as I am aware. Oh yah - no ETA here guys, still in testing phases - and no, I don't have any prototypes to sell and I am not sending this one around

    Still not a bad score
  15. *laughs* 1000D - my keyboard at work doesn't like it when I press a button more than twice and leaves stuff out.
  16. I am pretty sure that Nick probably wouldn't suggest a 40.1 at anywhere near full output day to day on the DP.
  17. No problem If you can get a hold of Thilo he may have something laying around.
  18. I don't have anything that long - you will probably need a custom wind for that much length.
  19. I am developing something bigger than the 3k... but I am not releasing full information since it is at least 7-8 months out.
  20. Congrats!
  21. Yep - pricing will be the same as the SAX-100.4C in the USA for now.
  22. 200-watts
