Mike Bruno is going to be re-building the QC failed E8 drivers with all new parts for $60 + shipping : http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=340607 Get them while they last... when the E8s come back into stock the pricing will not be as low as the original pre-sale.

If you must use it just keep it adjusted down - as long as you adjust it carefully it won't hurt anything.

If you have decent pre-out voltage already, yes - IMO anyway.

That is roughly accurate without the load connected - are you turning the head unit to the same volume level you set the gains at when playing music ?

Play a sine wave and see where you deck puts out over 6 volts - then don't turn it up past there.

They aren't specific sub-outs -- they are full-range outputs with no crossovers applied.

All of the amps are tested before shipping now - not just some of them, so that was it.

Yep. I have two production models here right now that I had express shipped to me. The rest are on the water. Once I get my final cost of import duty, freight, etc I'll set pricing for them.

I am estimating that these will be priced just a little over the SAE-1000D model. Of course, exact final cost is TBA Actual output was in the 1500 watt area on the prototype model consistently.

You do not need to change any settings whatsoever on the slave. In fact, adjusting the slave amp won't do anything.

With a big battery bank he'll be okay to play for longer intervals - but he will need to let the alternator catch up eventually.

I'm trying on the 250.2 - I am getting such a surge in demand for existing products that all of my capital is going into more inventory for those items. Also trying to release the 2000D and 50.4 models as well in addition to all kinds of other stuff - working as hard as I can

An 85-amp alternator is *very* under-sized for a 3000D anywhere near max output. If you watch your settings and adjust the amp down then you can use it, just don't expect to produce full output for long with such a small alternator.

You cannot bridge at 2 ohms.
