  1. Most users do not need to use the bass boost, although, some people may desire it to fit their needs it can easily clip the amp and hurt your woofer if used without caution. Set the subsonic to 1/3 octave under the port tuning.
  2. Indeed - a quality alt like Ohio Gen and good battery support will be alright.
  3. Other mods - this is allowed here by special permission.
  4. Have 12" b-stocks still available in both coil configurations.
  5. In that case, no, you can use just CH 3+4 with RCAs only into CH 3+4 of the amp. It wouldn't hurt to use 4 awg, but honestly, with just like 3 feet 8 awg is fine.
  6. Yah - pre-orders are shipping first.
  7. The 3000Ds are in customs now here on the east coast. If they clear smoothly I may have them tomorrow. If not, I should still get them before the end of the week. Orders will ship ASAP once they come in.
  8. John, 1) That is fine for such a short wire. 2) You do need to use input to all four RCAs - you can use Y splitters. 3) That will get you very close, yes.
  9. I suggest a 1500-watt amp daily for the Nightshade in the current stock format. Max theoretical gain for 500 more watts is 1 db, factor in power compression and you have an inaudible gain for 33% more heat generated in the coil. But yes, they are very daily friendly woofers - you can tune to 28 Hz if you like.
  10. make it 16/18V? I don't think I understand, it's powering up just fine.... Right - sometimes if the remote isn't the same voltage you may have a problem with protection.
  11. I do still have some of these.
  12. *laughs* Okay guys - enough hat talk Shirts is all we have right now. I'll be sure to post whenever I start working on hats.
  13. You still need to match them strapped - the maxx-link can then be used to alter the gain of up to 5 pairs of amps at once after they are initially matched. That is the big draw of it.
  14. 6v is the max input - on page 4 specs in the manual, 0.2v - 6.0v input sensitivity
  15. Have any videos 80 ?
  16. You probably won't gain anything tuning lower - we didn't really notice any difference in sound tuning up from ~20 or so to ~30 or so in Brandon's Bronco.

Yes, as long as you receive the original invoice to prove date of purchase from an authorized dealer.
  18. Yep, as Kurt said just follow the instruction sheet - you do have to adjust each amp independently to match them but its very easy to do.
  19. Sounds like a solid show
  20. They can be tricky to set up.
  21. *laughs* You would have to ask her yourself - careful, she is Asian and therefore knows karate.
  22. This one will most likely be better for very high power applications, and the Nightshade will be better for "moderate" power level applications. I still have a bunch of testing to do in order to draw further conclusions
