    Glad you like them

Expect about 300-400 watts @ 4 ohms at 12.8 volts. As for the E8s, yes, there will be more. They just sold out SO fast its catch up time.
  3. Sean's truck is what we used for the 1500D high voltage sticky - he has alot of power
  4. ...dont u have enough Amps yourself... I'm actually out of 3000s and sold my only vehicle with sufficient electrical to run big power. I may take it down to South Carolina to visit Sean, we can test up to ~10kw there with his 1500s on 18 volts.
  5. You can ask Chris - for these 100.4s that are on sale right now all of them are in excellent condition, I've seen them before he gets them. If he has any that are scratched up he always mentions it before the sale.
  6. If its dual 2ohm I could help you with that. The proto coils are D1 at this time - I'm thinking someone with 16 volts and four 3000Ds could test it nicely
  7. I have no ETA - I have alot of testing to do. I fired it up this morning a little bit - but I think I want to give the glue more time to fully cure before really loading it down.
  8. I think the Hawaii SPL guys would love these batteries - hope Scottie gets the deal worked out!
  9. Scottie is the man w/ batteries and alts
  10. Forgot to add... I just finished building an MT this morning with the five spider pack... 1500D @ 1/2 ohm free air playing LOW Bass Mekanik tracks got it moving, maybe, 15mm one way. I actually pushed the amp into audible distortion to make it move that far... so, before anyone asks, NO I do not suggest the 5 spider pack for anyone daily. I need to find someone with 20kw+ to test this on burps to see how well I glued it together Of course, I'm most excited about testing it day to day with a 3000D on it to see how my cooling method works out.
  11. The one in my avatar is a 1st generation SI Mag from around 2002 or so. I'm @ home now, but if you e-mail me I can give you a number to reach me at tomorrow.
  12. * My pretty triple joint and re-enforced epoxy spider landing (filled in the lip with epoxy) * The top - I wish I remembered to take a picture of the top triple joint, it is sexy
  13. Squeezed in a little time this evening to get it mostly built up - provided I didn't mess anything up I can at least break it in and measure specs w/ 5 spiders tomorrow. I went ahead and built the hardest spider pack I plan to make for abuse testing (3 hard and 2 medium - this is harder than 4 hard w/ my spiders). I'll test softer spider packs later.
  14. yea, some guys on the event told me that the coil may was damaged from listening to music with the strapped 3ks xD, someone else told me, it may was because the amps are sharing the ground over the amp rack, that would have happend with their DD amps, is that possible? we'll see when i get the new spair, just takes 3 weeks, since they are out of stock over here yea, the event was real fun, ppl from all over europe been there and oki is a realy cool guy to talk with What do you mean sharing the amp ground over the amp rack ? I am not clear what you are referring to. Also, if they are strapped the slave amp tends to protect first if there is over-current or anything like that.
  15. Perhaps your SOLO-X coil shorted and caused short circuit protection for the one amp ? Show looks like it was fun
  16. All 15" D1 B-stocks are SOLD OUT. All 15" D2 B-stocks are SOLD OUT. 12" b-stocks in both coil configurations available.
  17. No. The new heatsink models have upgraded power supply transistors. Not audible or anything, but it is something that I changed.
  18. http://www.db-r.com/sell/store/index.php?productID=144 Old style - $260 http://www.db-r.com/sell/store/index.php?productID=194 New style - $275 ----- Limited supply, get them while they last
  19. I still have a fair amount, so just let me know.
  20. Coming along nicely!
  21. It has been done - but I don't suggest it for anyone but very experienced SPL competitors that know the risks.
  22. Congrats!
  23. The new one is thicker with some minor differences: New Heatsink: http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...hl=new+heatsink Old Heatsink: ----- The new heatsink is 10mm thicker on the top with fins under the face, it has more fins on the side, and the part number is mirrored on the face.
  24. You will be very pleased I'm sure
  25. He is out of new heatsink refurbished amps. The old ones are just fine - the new one is just thicker to disperse more heat. This change was primarily made for the Class-A/B amps but is carried to the Class-D amps so they match, the Class-D amps run cool enough with the old case.
