  1. These are SQ subs - I'm not going to tell you they'll be louder than your existing subs.
  2. Sweet Let us know how it goes.
  3. Forgot to mention - this was accomplished by changing some of the planned switches to buttons, which take up less space on the side panel and on the crossover card board inside the amp. I am REALLY glad this was finally worked out right at the last minute, as I really wanted to have that last bit of flexibility. Buttons will be used for all x1/x10 and 12dB/24dB functionality. So there will be 8 buttons on the side of the amp. The only switch is for "HPF, LPF, FULL" - so there are two switches. Then there eight knobs total - two gains, two "sub-sonics," two HPF adjustments, and two LPF adjustments. Thats a full side panel
  4. Alright! After substantially more tweaking and fiddling we have figured out how to get 12dB / 24dB selection for both the HPF and LPF crossovers on all four channels. I'm excited
  5. With the 1/4" gaps you left the fan will suck air in right around the amps and push it back out (I would have it blowing out). Thats a pretty decent cooling setup. If you decide to take off the bottom covers just be very careful not to damage anything as I cannot cover modified amps.
  6. Found someone to magnetize the prototype for me So maybe I'll be putting this together in a week or two when I get it back.
  7. Few pictures of the motor - it's here. Just need to get it magnetized.
  8. If you are strapping them you need to wire the subs together as a "single" 2 ohm load. Otherwise you need to buy Y-Splitters to give signal into the regular input of each amp separately.
  9. I think Dan's scores will bring some customers to you, Luis! He is doing very well.
  10. If you are using the BR connectors they MUST be strapped. Strapping instructions here: http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...?showtopic=7406
  11. I had a 130, but my fuses blew with 3 seconds still on the clock. I will have my 130+ sticker in drive-by sometime this year. Wow, that will be awesome!
  12. Great job, that was a very close match! I bet you were excited
  13. Yep, its very similar to the Hyperflex wire.
  14. Indeed, it is a very nice quality wire. I'll see what I can find out.
  15. I'll see if I can find out anything... I've been looking for wire but everything I've found has been too expensive.
  16. Thats all I've got for "official" testing.
  17. Wow, congrats on gaining over 5 dB!!!
  18. Indeed, the "defect" is very small.
  19. Correct, 18v is fine - our test battery bank just happened to rest at 16.5v for this test
  20. Nice! That poor MT didn't stand a chance.
  21. Yes.
  22. *teaser* I am working on an 8" driver w/ 2.4" coil, cast basket, and special cooling. If you liked the E8, wait until you see this one
