  1. That curious, huh ? I'll post the model numbers tomorrow.
  2. Based on Loyd's test above - 270 amps.
  3. Whats that supposed to mean ? --- In any event... the efficiency of all three choices should be fairly similar at a similar power level. I doubt you'll see more than 10% variance, which is only going to be ~16-20 amps different.
  4. *laughs* No, not really... think I'm going to just go through them all as I get time to get it out of the way.
  5. Yes, 4 ohm SVC. About 8-10 in^2 works fine for one.
  6. See Post #2 " 5) 1x Used SAE-1000D - $245 shipped * Good condition (not perfect) * 1-year warranty "
  7. Not quite - had the smaller orders shipped first and have the biggest pre-order left to go. Got half of them tested and will get that one shipped tomorrow... then all the pre-orders will be shipped.
  8. It'll be open for another week or two. They all have the logo - the plain cone was the prototype.
  9. I have shipped most of the pre-orders. It is taking a while since I am testing each one of them to make sure they are all just right.
  10. I'm shooting for the 500-watt range at the moment - that may change based on prototype results, we'll have to see.
  11. It's something on the drawing board - I couldn't tell you when.
  12. pics of the Nightshade? How do the 12's do sealed? http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/forum/i...p;hl=nightshade Sealed for the 12s = No The 15s do alright sealed based on "80INCHES" testing.
  13. If as low as you want is 70 Hz these really aren't for you - they are optimized as SUB-woofers. What you want is more of just a "woofer" type driver. Looked in the Hybrid Audio 8s ?
  14. I wouldn't play them much over 200 Hz. The intro sale is still running for a few weeks - you can simply Paypal me to [email protected]
  15. http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/zencart...&cPath=3_11 Click the item then click "Write a Review" on the right hand bar.
  16. Just measured a production driver - specs are with a few percentage - so specs in Post #1 are good for box modeling for production drivers!
  17. Only 10 more days!
  18. Yes sir On 3000s it's been crazy... I think they have out-sold all other models this month - hence running out of stock (1500s usually sell twice as many as 3000s).
  19. Yah, I hate that they are out - but sales literally exploded lately and I couldn't react fast enough.
  20. PS: Plenty of 1500Ds in stock - customers can always use two of them.
  21. It's gonna be a bit (August is my ETA). Chris @ dB-R.com does have some refurbished amps available, though!
  22. Another quick burst of sales hit on the 3000s. They are now out of stock.
  23. What power range is that ? I want to do a 5-channel in 2009 - it's just not something I can do near term (eg: this year). http://ampguts.realmofexcursion.com/DLS_A5/ 780w x 1 @ 1 ohm. id love to see that 5 channel. you got any specs on that? or is it still on the drawing board. The 5-channel I have been toying with is 90x4 @ 4 and 500x1 @ 2 Still entirely drawing board.
  24. Just paid $4.25 a gallon for 93 octane to fill up my GTI.
