  1. That'll be @ 2 ohms - just fine.
  2. Nah... I already have the "SAE" amp series - this is my "entry level" driver line. There won't be any big "E" on the cone or anything
  3. *laughs* Busted. I keep ear plugs in the glove box of the Bronco with the three Nightshade 15s for when I ride with him too
  4. If you are really interested in a 9515 let me know, I have two 9515G D2 subs that I have no use for. They are actually brand new.
  5. IMO... the SQ is quite good. I'll be running four 8s daily in my VW with a 3-way front stage setup for SQ. I auditioned the original E8 proto ported in my Civic (previous car) and really enjoyed it. Closest comparison is the 8" Tang-Band driver - the E8s handle more power thermally, though.
  6. You would have to talk to Sean about videos, but I'm sure that could be arranged if he is not busy. He used a tiny 4th order band-pass in his CRX with around 800-watts on the burp. Your setup should do much more than 132 dB
  7. That is 1/2 ohm per amp so I would suggest an HO alternator around 200 amps, a nice primary battery, and a large G31 secondary battery (DEKA Intimidator, Powermaster D3100, Kinetik 2400, etc).
  8. I've done it - don't suggest doing so, though, the amps are very touchy at that load.
  9. The nominal is what you are looking at. PM me about pricing on 16 of them.
  10. Brent, If you check the first post in the thread you will see pricing listed as follows: "Paypal $65 each to [email protected] for one driver. If you want FOUR of them then send over $240 and they are yours (60 each). If you want EIGHT of them then send over $440 and they are yours (55 each). Prices are shipped in the continental USA." They are on pre-order until the end of May, when they are scheduled to arrive.
  11. It adds a pound or two to the weight.
  12. Size is roughly 25
  13. I doubt that amp will be out for a wile if it was me Id save it for late this year if not next year Im not really sure that its an amp that very many need or will want Indeed... as much as I personally like the 250.2 the reality is it's a VERY niche amp. I will be making it, but other things must take priority right now.
  14. Specials added for 4, 6, and 8 woofers!
  15. The company I used to work for sells to the company you work for
  16. Two runs of 4 gauge would work fine - a single run of 4 gauge is a bit small for an amp that can draw ~160 amps. The 4 gauge wire will drop about a volt between the battery and your amp at high output levels.
  17. I'm pretty excited about them... will be making a box for four of them for my VW.
  18. Yep, dual power and ground terminals.
  19. We have been testing it pretty hard for over a month Pretty anxious to get them out. Will the production 1200d have 1/0 power inputs? Yes. This amp has 1/0 terminals.
  20. 4.25"
  21. We have been testing it pretty hard for over a month Pretty anxious to get them out.
  22. All you have to do is gain match two of the 800Ds - just another few minutes of work The only usage most people get out of strapping is to put a bunch of power to a single coil for SPL. I have very few customers strapping SAE amps, most just get a single 1000D and run two D4 woofers on it and thats it.
  23. I imagine the Lvl 5 speaker is very expensive to manufacture and fairly priced for what it is! If you want to go DC have you considered the Lvl 4 ?
