  1. No, it will not last very long like that as it was not designed with that application in mind.
  2. Most of the time is in transit for smaller runs of woofers like this.
  3. The 100.2 is about 25% underrated -- they can pretty easily produce 125 x 2 @ 4 ohms at regular car voltage. Can it handle 16+ volts and .5ohms? Nope.
  4. He's kidding -- when an amp "smokes" the joke is that the smoke is what made it work since when the smoke is gone it doesn't work anymore
  5. Glad we could get you taken care of!
  6. Who is selling them ? I'll probably be able to tell you if they have warranty or not by looking it up. Or, are you just asking in general if you buy one will the warranty transfer if you sell it? If so, the answer is yes if you give them the invoice.
  7. Production is almost done -- once they are in transit and I have a preliminary ETA I'll open ordering.
  8. The 100.2 is about 25% underrated -- they can pretty easily produce 125 x 2 @ 4 ohms at regular car voltage.
  9. The 100.4s are underrated by 10-15% or so. The 100.4 is pending sale to bigjon.
  10. 60 volts from the master + to the slave + is what you are looking for.
  11. I'm not sure why they say that, but the coil DCR is in the right range to be a D4 coil.
  12. It has been done, I have not heard any reports of issues. It is also equivalent to a 4 ohm bridged load, which quite a few have reported on. Just be sure it has good ventilation.
  13. I've been getting some good feedback on the sale so far
  14. Indeed... I am feeling rough times ahead.
  15. You can do a CC through Paypal. Also, all of the amps have screw terminals -- maybe 1-2% of people prefer allens over the screw terminals. I can't stand Allen terminals from an ease-of-use standpoint. PS: If you really want them I can sell you allen screws to fit. I have some in stock.
  16. That is correct. I'll put up a quick and easy link shortly. *edit* Easy ordering link added in original post.
  17. There are no limits other than the time limit of the 20th of April!
  18. Hopefully Chad or anyone else with experience with one will chime in this thread. The reaction has been very positive from those I have heard back from. It makes a great mid-bass / component amp and also a very good subwoofer amp if you have a 4 ohm load to drive -- I used one to drive two SD-1 10s in my Civic for quite a while.
  19. Alright guys -- I have noticed that the SAX-100.2 doesn't get the recognition it deserves online. My local dealers love the amp and they have sold most of them to folks that don't post online! So, in order to get some love for the SAX-100.2 online I am doing to do something that you won't see again for a long time. I am opening a special DIRECT sale on the SAX-100.2 model until April 20th! On to the fun part... the cost will be $200 shipped in the continental USA (PM me for Hawaii and Alaska). Yes, that is right. This is April 2nd and not an April Fools joke! To take advantage of this offer simply Paypal me at [email protected] -- or for an easy Paypal check-out go here: http://www.sundownaudio.com/SAX1002_Sale.html This comes with the FULL Sundown Audio warranty!
  20. A 180-amp alternator and one battery will in NO WAY power that 5000-watt amp at anywhere near full output. Look into a 300-amp alternator or dual 200-amp units and two runs of 1/0 from front to back with at least two large batteries.
  21. PM me about cosmetic defect Nightshades... I have a couple that don't meet my standards cosmetically.
  22. Shipping weight is around 60 pounds. The driver being around 55 of that. Cut-Out is the same as other 12-spoke drivers.
  23. This one is getting a bit off track, so it will be closed. The "other" issue is being handled on ROE.
  24. RE of 1.59 ohms is a 2 ohm nominal load. Not sure why they call them 3 ohm coils ?
  25. Wayne sure is trying to push people to use HUGE amps in Street, huh ?
