  1. lol no all it takes is to undo the 2 alan screws at the ends of the silver bar and to lift that bar out and turn it around Correct, it's just two allen screws to flip the name plate. My amps are showing up Monday and I think they'll only have the SAZ-1500D on one side...I want to flip the whole cover around (not just the chrome nameplate) so that all writing on the amp reads properly...does that make more sense? That would involve taking apart the entire amp, drilling new holes for the transistor tie-downs, etc... I cannot warranty an amp that has this procedure performed by the end user.
  2. *laughs* No fins on the car! The 100.4 and 1500D will be next to get the new heatsink in 60-90 days or so, followed later by the 100.2 -- for those wondering Any internal changes on them planned along with the heat sink upgrade? The SAX-100.4 is moving from the DFP50N06 to the DFP70N06 transistor in the power supply section. Out of the 1% or so 100.4s that failed due to actually blowing up something it was a power supply transitor in those cases. The SAZ-1500D will remain the same for the time being. The extra heatsink will increase the life of the transistors further by keeping them cooler, though
  3. Prices dropped on all items listed currently.
  4. There will not be any modded amps for competition. They pretty much do anything that you need without mods. Have you been in touch with me via e-mail? I don't always connect screen names with people Yeah, shaun schiffinger [email protected] Gotcha LMK when you are ready.
  5. The face of the amp is exactly the same -- I made the changes subtle on purpose, but it will effect the cooling substantially.
  6. Powermaster batteries will make a substantial difference. One Powermaster battery = about three regular lead acid batteries of the same dimensions

  9. That is fine.
  10. At this time I'm thinking either 5x 15s or 9x 12s for the new setup in the truck.
  11. All the work is done -- new heatsink is done, new crossover tooling is done -- I just need to gather some capital for them. Just keeping existing models in stock has become quite a challenge as Sundown becomes more popular worldwide

  13. A bunch of 3000Ds did ship today. A couple more shipping tomorrow.

    Go for it
  15. You can't quite see it in the photo... but on the bottom of each internal fin there is a texture like the texture on the bottom of the mounting feet, this further increases heat dissipating surface area.
  16. Plaid not included
  17. Changes are coming soon I think I know why the score was down, and I don't think it is the MTs going dead just yet!
  18. The next production run will be as such -- around 60-90 days from now.
  19. It is also quite a bit heavier now, alot more aluminum in there Should run like an ice cube now! Quite a few customers suggested the mirrored part number -- it was a great idea, so I did it.

    * More fins added to the side. * The main change, 10mm added height to add fins under the face. * Mirrored part number so that when you flip the "Sundown Audio" bar it looks the same as before. --- There we go Eventually the whole SAX and SAZ line will have this case.
  21. These items are still available. I'll be adding more random stuff as I move into the new warehouse and find stuff
  22. Yes sir... it's great I need to get down there and get some pics of the new heatsink. Although minor cosmetically they new changes are sexy... it's also pretty amazing how much heavier these are due to all the extra aluminum. The 3000s and 1500s will run like ice cubes in this case (the next run of 1500s and 100.4s get it next).

Cool, I like the Fit as well
  24. Yup. They are here. New heat-sink looks great too Just finished unloading inventory into the new warehouse a few minutes ago.
  25. Pre-Sale is over.
