The box may be loading on the vehicle and lowering actual in-vehicle tuning -- making the low-end much more powerful than the upper end. Not necessarily meaning no upper-end output, just too much bottom end. Moving the box around may help -- also try disabling or increasing the LPF in case the knobs are not accurate.

Parts are all here... as we start making them we'll get more finalized specs on each size and coil configuration. * All of the cones together * 18" Cone * 15" Cone * 12" Cone (woops... got it dirty) * 10" Cone All cones have a stitched surround. ----- * Upper left (18" - 9 1/4") -- Upper right (15" - 8 3/8") -- Bottom (10/12" - 7") Z v.3 15s and 18s will run the long coils (60-65mm) -- we'll have shorter ones for the 10s and 12s (50mm) to keep mass balance in check (will risk some ticking with the longer coils). All of them are beefy 8-layer aluminum USA made voice coils on black aluminum formers. * 15 / 18" coil * 10 / 12" coil (NS v.1 equivalent coil)

There is no build time -- only the 12D4 won't ship immediately (will ship next week) as we had a small outage until we unload the container today.

Shipped out a couple today -- the rest of the pre-orders are tested for tomorrow. * - Except for 12D2 -- they got separated and are either in the other container or the LTCL due around the end of October.

Despite the tall top plate they are still over-hung -- theoretically I could put a short under-hung coil in there, though.

Back and top plate are done -- these are very similar to the "v1.75" unit I sent over to Pulse Car Audio a while back except the pole is 10mm taller.

The finalized frame tool with production finish is done so I'm starting a thread to hold photos of all the parts as they finish up... we should have the rest of the tooled parts done the week of the 24th and the motor likely before that. So as I get images of the final parts I'll put them up!

I expect to be starting production this month -- so stay tuned for pre-ordering.

We have many customers running them in the suggested boxes and are very happy with them. You won't get a ton of impact from 8s in a sealed box -- that application is more to just fill in the bass a bit. We've always had excellent results from 0.6 vented on them -- impact, sound quality, etc.

That is the output filter inductor -- looks like the solder may have broken loose. If that is all that is wrong Chris could fix it easily. If it's major we actually do have a few complete spare boards for those still.
