  1. Dividing by two works fine. We have not tested them un-strapped at high voltage specifically.
  2. Jacob, who is on the team and how do people get on the team? People apply for the Team by contacting me about it. There are 23 team members at this time. I review as much information as they can provide me with, such as: experience in SPL, plans for the season, number of shows they have attended and/or intend to go to, photos of current and past installs, records held, and any other unique information regarding their position. If I feel like they would be a good addition to the Team they get to join. I don't promote the Team as I get a ton of e-mails as it is requesting to be on the team and I can't let everyone on Most Team members have quite a bit of experience. A few Team members I let on because I am interested in their projects for the season and I think they will do well despite their limited experience.
  3. Ricky, Production has started Team members get first dibs on these... I have a feeling that most of them will be going to the Team.
  4. I believe that is $115 shipped in USD -- is that correct Steve?
  5. To quite obviously hear a difference you would need around 2200 watts assuming no power compression. That would gain you 3dB which is twice as loud by pressure -- to your ear 10dB is twice as loud and on bass it's difficult to hear small gains of 1 - 2dB. Since you are using only one speaker we will assume it has a fair amount of power compression... so we'll say more like 2700+ watts to be "obviously" louder. Check the SPL meter, that is where a smaller power upgrade will show up.
  6. Jeff, Hopefully I'll see you around more! I'm sure that one of these days you'll be running Sundown
  7. The 75.2 will have an MSRP price of around $199 or so. This is subject to change as materials prices are going up just about every week so it may require adjustment when it's release comes around.
  8. The only Rockford T5001bd amps I find within the price range of this pre-order are refurbished with 90 day warranties -- and they still cost a bit more. Brand new ones look like around $550 shipped per pair on e-bay with, at best, a 1 year warranty through an e-bay seller. The Rockford T5001bd goes for $499 fully authorized at Crutchfield, down from the $649 MSRP, with a factory warranty. Sonic Electronix sells them for $369 with their own 1 year warranty. The RF amp looks pretty solid, don't get me wrong. But apples to apples if you consider support and warranty this pre-sale is a better deal. You also have the option to strap the SAE-1000D whereas the RF does not have that feature.
  9. Two 10" DD 9510s? Wonder if Richard still has his for sale...
  10. SOLD to katsooba.
  11. I think he is more about SPL then SQ. May be wrong tho... True enough... but the Mag can do SPL if you want it to We have a pair of SAZ-1500Ds on 2x Mag 12s in my brothers truck doing 146.8 dB in nSPL no wall 0-24 and we aren't done yet.
  12. Pending sale to katsooba.
  13. Equipment looks good so far
  14. I don't believe I snapped any pics... but most of the FETs were blown to bits. I'll look through my camera and see if any are on there.
  15. Kevin had a pair of 1500Ds and swapped to an SAZ-3000D. Not sure on all the details of his 2 dB gain, though. He may want to keep it a secret.
  16. So far nobody else has inquired seriously, so I may still have it by then. Someone buy this amp for in a raised floor, or on an amp box. Great power, EXCELLENT price. is this offer still actual ? how much for an international shipment to israel ? PM sent. Would be glad to ship to Israel for you
  17. UPS never damages my stuff, if you couldn't tell
  18. Any pics of the fire??? Sounds interesting. Thats the only one I know of.
  19. I know that... SPL guys love to run things low. So far so good with my Team members. Guys that know how to test their setup don't have any problems even pushing them to the extremes.
  20. I had a Team Sundown guy blow one at 0.175 ohms, as Richard stated. I had a regular customer blow one at 0.35 ohms... but his head-unit caught on fire and sent in a bad signal. I've had three damaged by improper strapping. And thats it so far... nobody has damaged one within operating specs to my knowledge
  21. So far nobody else has inquired seriously, so I may still have it by then.
  22. I have removed all official 1/2 ohm warranty coverage on the amps. Although, I still suggest SI highly if a customer intends to run a 1/2 ohm nominal load anyway.
  23. Ah. I don't imagine it would be a problem. Hoss' (sometimes on the forum) has his at 1/2 ohm and we have dropped to mid 10s on voltage before demoing the system. They are very tough.
