1) The price is not updated yet for the blowout. 2) It costs the same as the SAZ-2500D and is nearly as powerful with Class-A/B circuits and a much larger case. So it is priced fairly.

Voltage dropped to 12.3 volts with 646 amps of measured draw on my DC clamp meter. We let everything cool off for a while and hit it again and saw 7200-watts as well but didn't grab all of the other information that round. If we turned it up any more it would simply draw more current with no increase in measured power output on my meter. We are quite happy with the performance as is Derrick

Some pics from the latest production run that was recently on pre-order that is due end of July to first of August. These have all of the updates to date on the v.1 plus : 1) New slightly taller spacer ring with full Sundown logo (few mm extra for SPL burps) 2) New revised cast frame with better clearances They are compatible with other SA-8s made to date as these are still a v.1 model.

Pre-ordering is over! We expect these in last week of July to first week of August.

The Z v.1 was pretty similar to the Mag v.3 15" -- the v.2 departs a good bit from that.
