Cardboard box trick *laughs*

48x SA-10s Build
Dual purpose video - we floated this bag all over the port AND did a hair trick with all the doors closed. This truck is BRUTAL... still at 17v at the end of the video, it's very efficient.

Little bit of external vehicle flex action.

48x SA-10s Build
Burp - was a bit louder with 156.7 dB ----- Clamping power: 910 watts per amp x 12 = 10,920 watts for 156+ dB @ 30 Hz. We calculated impedance rise to be 3.5 ohms -- also currently we are using 18 Y-Splitters to get the signal to the amps so RCA voltage is really low (line driver not working right now). Hank plans to do more testing with a line driver soon when it gets fixed.

We got the batteries up to 17.8 volts and got sick of waiting so we did a sweep : Peaks at 30 Hz !

48x SA-10s Build
Batteries are charging and we will do some metering once they are full. We don't expect optimum results as there are 18 sets of Y-Splitters involved -- bet the head unit is hating life Once Hank gets home he is going to use a Maxx-Link at least for a while until he figures out whats wrong with his line driver unit.

Yep - a Ford F350 Diesel crew cab with a camper shell.

48x SA-10s Build
We are going to try metering if the cops don't show up Keep in mind the truck can still haul six passengers so there is a big ol' cabin.

48x SA-10s Build
Second video. Kind of short - the beats at the start of the song are likely in the 20s... dome light was moving 10x more than the subs.

48x SA-10s Build
Pretty loud so far at about 3-4mm excursion on the subs *laughs* I think we need some more gain on it due to not having the line driver and using a TON of splitters. For some reason the line driver isn't coming on - we have taken it apart and can't find any issues with it so it's a mystery for now.

48x SA-10s Build
The 10s, 12s, and 15s don't have any need for it -- the glue surface area is significantly more and they don't come off.

It's a 4th order band-pass -- the rear chamber is sealed and the opening into the cab is the 4th order port.

whats going to replace this amp? the 1000D was a nice low profile (cute little guy.) amp, is the 1200d's taking its place? Yes, SAX-1200D replaces it and I am working on an SAX-800D that will, in reality, be nearly if not equally as powerful as the 1000D but smaller.

This just went through yesterday officially -- so it's not a re-post. They will be handling a close-out on the SAZ-1000Ds for me -- they should be picking up all the remaining 1000D stock shortly.
