Yes, I have almost 200 emails to do from SBN -- working on them !

before I asked if they needed breakin and you answered that they do not. How is it that these don't need breakin and 1508 need to be broken in for about a month before going all out? Supposedly because of the way they make their spider lamination with multiple thin spiders with the leads in between it needs time to "settle" together. I don't use DD products so I couldn't tell you how accurate that is. We use a double layer nomex spider with flat leads on top so any settling happens on our test bench (the spiders are SUPER stiff from the factory) -- we crank them up on a 1500D free air at nearly full bore and get the initial break-in of the spider done. After that they will soften up a bit with regular usage but not a whole lot.

I am still working on getting caught up on emails. We are getting close on the SA-8s (few more days) and then next week we should be caught up on custom subs and re-cones... then should be back to normal.

Haha. I'm working on it guys. There are ALOT of them to ship and we test all of them by hand.

Down at SBN - my girlfriend got a demo of the truck and did a hair trick. DJ's truck has 32x SA-12s on 4x 3500Ds running 16v all at 1 ohm each. Capable of 157+ dB @ 37 Hz so far :

Went well -- Team did great and I had a great time.

I am back from SBN... will take me a few days to get rolling again but we are working hard on e-mails, the SA-8 pre-orders, and any other orders that have been placed !

You can always upgrade to a 1200D v.2 or 1500D by emailing me -- upgrade w/ warranty replacement is an option we offer.

It was running at SBN -- I'm sure it will get MUCH louder too with more tuning

Got as many as I could shipped -- not as many as I would have liked but there are only so many hours in a day, especially when preparing for a big event. So! Anyone that gets them Friday and Saturday (FedEx Home does Saturday) post some reviews for me and everyone else who is waiting I'll start shipping more Monday when I'm home from SBN.

If you are waiting on custom built subs, drop-ins, or e-mail responses there will be some delays until after SBN. We are running around like crazy getting ready and trying to make sure everyone else on the Team is ready. I will be out of town on Friday completely and all weekend. Will do as much as I can on e-mails but expect some delay time.

If you got a few the # will just say the weight of one box -- FedEx tracking is weird. I have them stacked up in a pile by Invoice # -- which is *roughly* the order the orders were placed. It is exactly the order I entered them into the computer system.

Few pictures of one I pulled out for myself from production : * Notice the plastic spacer -- like the SA12s -- this prevents the triple joint re-enforcement ring from hitting the top plate at super high x-max. * Vent holes were slightly enlarged as well

I have my big system pulled out of the Jeep pending the next setup... have this little guy in a small vented enclosure and it sounds GREAT. Bridged on the rear channels of a 100.4 for power. I am really very pleased with it... I am happy with the output of just this one driver on more SQ oriented music. Honestly, I'd be pretty happy even on heavy material with a pair most of the time... VERY happy with it considering the power applied / enclosure size / cost.

Well they came in today -- ahead of schedule. Showed up just a little bit before FedEx pickup... a few lucky guys got their subs shipped today. These things are as stiff as a Nightshade out of the box *laughs* They loosen up alot on my test bench run We'll ship as many as possible before leaving for SBN... please DO NOT email or PM me asking if your specific driver has shipped. Answering more messages like that will only slow me down in getting them out. They will all be shipped out as fast as we possibly can.

I think your pre-order actually was the 1st one.
