RE10...flexin'?
It's not too shabby. I bet the sub 40hz range would surprise most.

RE10...flexin'?
It's certainly nothing extravagant as far as materials and equipment goes. Just wanted to have some fun making a little vid, trying out my iphone.

RE10...flexin'?
Normal plywood. I made it out of some scrap that I had after remodeling my bathroom.

RE10...flexin'?
Yeah, not bad for the size/power. I realize it's nothing big, just having some fun.

RE10...flexin'?
Felt like making a little vid of the RE10 I got recently. I'm throwing about 400 or so watts to it via a bridged Alpine MRV1507 running at 8ohms. Forgive the quality, it's from my iPhone.

Dual DD 9512 Box
Dual 12" Digital Designs 9500's in 5ft^3 tuned to 35hz. This is for r1banshee at the caraudio.com forums. Space was tight, so we had to use a couple of angles to fit this thing in his trunk. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FAkGyw_vgCU

T-line box for True Bass 8
It's sort of a hybrid due to the loading chamber. I generally like to run an angled piece from the sub baffle to where the normal line starts, so that the chamber tapers throughout it's entirety and acts less like loading chamber than a normal 90° angled chamber would. I've done a few like this with the big 45's feeding towards the line and it seems to work really well, but I would rather be able to taper the chamber all the way down. I know it's not a textbook example of a t-line.

T-line box for True Bass 8
This thing was a pain to plan out...took me like 5 tries to get my path down right and get the length I needed for the line.

T-line box for True Bass 8
Transmission line box for ace_800 at caraudio.com for his True Bass Solutions 8" sub. The line is tuned to 35hz, just under the sub's fs. This will be going in his 1966 Pontiac GTO.

switching boxes
There will be a noticeable difference in output, assuming that you're not able to push the subs as far as you want to with your current box(since it seems to be pretty small).

06 AA Assassins
I got four of them back when they first came out...put them in 1.2ft^3 each and they seemed to like it.

Somewhat creative bracing with BTL 18's.
Right, if the subs can mechanically handle more power, then more volume is the way to go to gain overall efficiency.

Somewhat creative bracing with BTL 18's.
Most people don't want threaded rod since it's not visually appealing at all.

Somewhat creative bracing with BTL 18's.
Something like 36" wide x 16" tall x 24" deep will give you plenty of room to use a huge.

Somewhat creative bracing with BTL 18's.
As of right now the designing keeps me quite busy. I don't even have time to build if I wanted to.

Somewhat creative bracing with BTL 18's.
I only do a vid for maybe every 3-4 boxes...just depends on what it is though. If it's more interesting, or something for a big build, then I'll be more apt to make a little vid.
