fi bl 15
This. Assuming he has adequate power for these, I'd do something like a 6.5ft^3 common chamber box with the tuning he wanted.

Thinking about running these mids and need a tweeter suggestion and op
Zaph liked the SB Acoustics ring radiators...I'd give them a shot if I were in the market for a low-crossable tweeter.

Thinking about running these mids and need a tweeter suggestion and op
I'll be running a pair(if needed) of 2" Whispers on each side along with mine.

I have a pair sitting in my truck...in the box they were shipping in.

Will this work if I do this to my port?
Definitely tuned too high IMO. Drop it to ~33hz and you'll notice a smoother response with better low-end extension.

what size aero port for fi bl 15??
Do not use PVC and assume that you can use the same size and quantity as you would aeroports. The flare is what makes you able to use less port area with aeroports. If you use PVC you have to abide by the same rules as a slot port, as far as port area goes.

Why at 50hz
Also, my truck peaks hard in the mid-upper 50's. I've tuned anywhere from 28-52hz and I always seem to peak at 56-57hz.

(4) Custom Fi 18's (4) AP30001Ds 45 cubic feet 20" port @ 24Hz
Those are some really odd crossover points you have.

Which sub sa8 or dcon 10
Don't know why it took so long either.

Which sub sa8 or dcon 10
Yay, another Dcon user.

what size aero port for fi bl 15??
Single 6" at the very least...triple 4" would be nice. I still love slot ports because length doesn't matter, still easy to build even if the port needs to be 40" long.

fi n3 tunning?
I certainly hope so.

Wood Splitting
I agree that if you're cuts are nice, then screws definitely suck tight the joints very well. The adhesive will come out of the seams just like when you're clamping.

chevy s10 design
Subs forward and port up, or port to the side with sub up/forward are probably your best options.

Upgrade from a W6

Which sub sa8 or dcon 10
I'd take a Dcon myself.

Box Design
If doing a pair of 6" round ports, you need to use flared aeroports. They can be found at www.partsexpress.com. The whole 12-16in^2 of port per ft^3 doesn't apply to aeros because the flared ends make them less susceptible to port noise, so you're able to get away with less port area. I've used single 6" aeros on a lot of 15" subs and they work fine. If you want, you can use three, but you're going to have to get your own thin-wall PVC to make the ports long enough; the kit from psp allows for just 17" total length.

Use a pair of 6" aeroports(real ones) instead.

new enclosure box dimensions
Don't know why they had to make the dimensions so difficult...it's very easy to just tweak things a little and get solid inch figures for the overall dimensions.
