well the dude with the 4 skar 8s insisted i hear them before i make up my mind. so he drove 2 hrs to cincinnati so i could hear them. they werent that loud..... the did however sound really good sq wise. anyways he really wants my zcon so he said $125 and his skars for it. i said no... like i said they sounded really good but werent loud enough for me... anyways zcons still up forsale/trade.

the zcon will sound damn good if u put it on 1200.. but if u really want it to shine and let it do what its made to do, u need atleast 2k IMO im running a sundown 3k to my zcon.. lovessss it. not saying it dont get warm, but it never smells or nothing.

i was looking at it more like this... if im building a new box for the zcon, why not try out some different subs? i love the zcon and it is my all time favorite sub.. but i like trying new things. so why not lol

alrighty guys. so the box i have for my zcon was origionally and used for 2 orion hcca 15s and the port is 150inches. they zcon needs more around 100 max.. therefor, it sounds like poo lol. i am thinking that if i am building a new box and what not, might as well try some other subs. im really looking for 3-4 sa 8 v2s, SSA GCON 10-12S (takes priority),dc subs,dd... u all get the point. i will add cash accordingly...... if it doesnt sell or get traded in a week or two, im just gonna keep it and do a new box. i got the zcon 18 here brand new from ssa. sub is still like new with 0 scratches or scuffs. coils has never smelled and always ran on good power. sub has been in 7.5 cubes tuned to 31hz. i am asking $350+shipping. i have the origional shipping box/crate i got from ssa.

met up with casey (frogscase2002) and allen ( allenH427) today to hear eachothers stuff (just me and casey) anyways heres a video of caseys single zcon 15 in his own built custom box, audiopipe 3k and much more. his zcon has litterally broke the latch on his trunk (damn impressive with 1 15) still sounds good as frigg:)

that it is haha. i have noticed my c&d batts arent staying charged up very long. u can literally hear a cha.ge in db when they start to die down. they always worked 100% when i had my 2 hccas and the aq3500 :/

ok, so this is my sisters old truck. its a 2002 ford ranger with the tremor package. meaning the truck comes STOCK from ford with these audio upgrades... pioneed DD HU pioneed 5x7s pioneer 10 w/ pioneer 500watt amp. sub is in a down firing sub box. truck used to be ALOT louder than it is in this video. the HU also used to be nice but of course over the years, things break lol. anyways here she is!

very nice truck! have any engine upgrades??? when i got my 02, i couldnt decide weather to lower it and get like a supercharger, or lift it for a mudding machine. i decided to go with the lift lol. here is my '02 f150

i listen to rock,, country, rap.. and my zcon 18 loves it all lol. iv never had the icon series before but im sure they are some kick ass subs as well. u will be happy with which ever u go with

i myself have found that ssa subs (particulary zcon obly cuz its all iv had lol) are very efficient. im running my saz 3k @ 1ohm to the 18 and i dont drop below 13.4 at full tult. my port is a little to big for my sub (150sq inchs) so sound quality aint the best. thats why im either getting a seccond zcon in my truck with a new box, or getting 3-4 sundown sa 8 v2s on my 3k Voltage drop has nothing to do with how efficient a sub is. way to shoot me down... lol i meant it dont take a lot of power to get them loud. but i guess the box has alot to do with that as well.

Anyway i can get some stickers? Rep ssa proudly since lance isnt the big banger around these parts cause im taking over haha. im still bumping my single zcon 18 d2 in 7.5cubes net tuned@31hz on my saz3k. BUT im either about to go REALLY big, or go with a few sundown sa8v2's. havent decided yet.. on another note, im tuned in for this build cant wait to see some vids!!!
