well i have a long story here... i sold my sa8v2s and shipped them to the buyer.. well he got them and tested them with a dmm and one subs coils read 1.6ohm each (d2 sub) and one sub read 3.0ohm each coil (d4 sub) i was supposed to get 2 d4 subs. so now, i have to give dude his money back, pay for return shipping ($110 both ways now) and as far as im concerned, both 8s are shot... i bought them brand new off ssa 2 months ago. some may ask.. why didnt you check em with a dmm when u got em? well the way i see it, i shouldnt have to being i bought them brand new..... also, when i took them out of my truck, my amp was in protection.. hopefully its not shot but it aint looking good. so now im out around $500 because someine F'd up my order and im pissed..... as u can see here, someone put tape over the d2 and wrote in a 4.. both boxes said d4 ohm. this was "sopposed" to be the other d4 sub.. it jumps anywhere from 1.5ohm to 1.8ohm each coil... Now, i aint one to start some shit over nothing, but i felt iv been done wrong. im not sure if i should be posting this is the sundown section or ssa but i figured since its your brand of subs, might as well post it here. i tried just keeping this between mark and yself, but i have yet to get a pm in responce and i cant be waiting around

As the title says, i have 1 d2 and one d4 kicker solo x 18s. the d4 coil is dark but both coils read 100% fine as should. Id like to run both but i just odnt have the space or power to do so, so im selling them. motors do have some scratches on bottom but nothing serious. cones and surrounds are flawless. Im looking for $350 plus shipping each... shipping will be a tad due to these weighing a s**t ton. Im not really looking for trades at this point. here are a few pics

im selling them tomorrow for $700.. i paid a little more than half that lol the guy i got em from had them in his truck... i seen the amp an batts he had trying to run em so hes had them awhile.

no extended cab but if im gonna run em, im gonna need a fat alternator, batteries, and atleasy $800 in amps hahahaha i dont have that kinda money and some things are more important to me right now. not saying car audio isnt important to me, but my truck is my main priority lol i just about have it the way i want it.. just gotta get a few more things lol

so, once again... i was surfing the local craigslist looking and hoping id find a nice single 12 and came across 2 kicker solo x 18s... one with a new recone and one used. He was asking $400 each so i decided to lowball the ish outta him.. ended up getting them for... a more than good deal. idk what it is with ppl around cincinnati, but they make me happy haha. almost as good as the aq3500 i got for $150 lol sorry, i had to share!

I decided i want to run a single bad ass 12. I bought these 2 sa8s off here 2 months ago brand new. they are D4 coils. I still have origional shipping boxes and everything. whats up guys? long time no talk! anyways im looking to start back into car audio. first things first... alternator. my stock alternator is 110amp factory with 2 regular car batteries up front (because its a diesel for those who dont know) so my question is, if i keep my stock 110amp alt, 2 regular batteries up fornt and say 1 c&d 75ah battery in back with the big 3 done and all 0 gauge wiring, how many watts do you all think i could run safely? im running a audiopipe 1000 right now on my 2 sa8v2s and i have no light dimming or anything. whats yalls thoughts on this? Also, heres a short video today i threw together of me and my "dancing boost gauge" and caseys zcon 12s puttin in some work.. also rollin some coal at the end for all the haters Enjoy!
