2 cans Max for rims

I used 2 cans for everyrhing I did. 4 layers on everything

Try 4-5 inches, I know the distance will change the texture. Once the first coat is done, do a few more, otherwise if its too thin it'll be hard to remove in piece. Just did a heavier coat. Looked a bit smoother when i went out to check on the first. Thanks for the tip If the weather is cold you could dip the can into some warm water. But that's what I've seen people do with rattle can spray paints, not sure about this product. That may just be what needs to be done! After drying it was still wasn't as smooth as i want. May take these layers off and start over while utilizing this tip! When I did mine, it was 28degrees outside and it kept spraying like shit. So after each layer, I took the cans and cleaned the tip really good and set them by the fire to warm them up. Worked perfect

I was thinking about it but it would be hard to cover up the chrome "ford " writing in the middle

so last night, me and my buddy decided to go ahead and plast-dip what we had origionally planned. so went to lowes, and bought 3 can and a roll of painters tape for $27. i took photo's from start to finish and a little video (with a treat at the end to myself haha front bumper taped up and ready to go sides are ready as well first layer first layer side forst layer bumper final instead of having white paint, tan botome trim, and black rims, its all whine and black another craigslist gem of mine. $30 :) (box) video: LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU ALL THINK!!

^^x2 when i did my bumper, i had one of those giant ass rocket looking kerosene heaters blowing on it to get it up to temp. it was 25 degrees outside at the time.

^^^ x2 my local audio shop said he wouldnt mind selling your audio himself. he told me he would love to do 4 18's of these in his chevy as a demo vehicle....

i read that some people up north where the roads are heavily salted, that they spray there wheels with this stuff, and then take it off during the spring. they all said it works 100%

On the can it self, it says 12-24inchrs away. I was about 10. You have to put each coat on pretty thick. It should have a nice wet glossy look after u finish each coat.

I think power washers will take it off. I took a power washer to my whole truck yesterday and itbatill looks fresh

yeah. a lot nice than i had expecter really. a lot of people use this on the rims for winter time so salt doesnt eat them away. clean really good, spray it on before salt hits the roads, peal off spring time. rims still look good as new

you can lol alls u need is 2 rolls of masking tape, and 4 cans of white plasti-dip haha.

i did my research on this stuff before i used it lol. if a rock or anything chips it, just hit the spot with a shot of more plasti-dip. it blends in with everyhting around it and you cant tell a difference from new to old. also, i talked to a guy who has had it on his truck for 2 years now and still looks fresh.

not its mostly tan. thats the project for next weekend

lol thanks man. im doing all my rocker panels and front bumper next weekend. this was just kind of a test run to see if it was everything evryone said it was... and sure enough, it is! haha

the plasti-dip comes in all colors.... like i said, best thing since sliced bread haha

so my buddy just got a 2010 f350 6.4L diesel and he was wanting to make it look sick without droppin ghella cash. he is going with a red and black paint scheme. the truck is already red so he want to make everything else black ( bumbers,rocker panels...ect.) so we was on youtube and came across this stuff called plati-dip. it sprays on like a spray can but when it drys, it forms a coat over whatever you want. and the best part, if u dont like it, it peals right off without leaving and residue or anything!! so i went to lowes and bought a few cans and some masking tape and gave it a whirl on my rear bumber of my f150..... Finished product: not bad for a $6 can of spray lol. honestly, i think its the best thing since sliced bread hahaha. so what do u guys think about this stuff???
